Hotone Verb Reverb Demo

- Demonstration of the Verb reverb pedal from Hotone's incredible value (and incredibly small) 'Skyline' pedal range. As well as regular reverb effects, the Verb is capable of creating some interesting ethereal drones and soundscapes.

Great clean demo, thank you. This little sucker sounds to have more flexibility than my Holy Grail. Your video alone sold me on it..should have mine here this week!
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad my demo helped your decision to buy, that's why I do them!
matthewmazurkiewicz Hi man, did u get it? It is better than the grail? (I mean, in sound not versatiliy)
I use this with an Orange Rocker and really like it. The Shimmer button brightens up my tone a lot. Add a compressor and you can get a really wonderful high Tele-style lead even out of a hollowbody or Les Paul.
Love the sound of this
Nice job Ryan! Sounds great
I only ever watch demo videos for pedals and, until i got my forst hotone today, i never realized how fucking tiny these are.
How well does it handle overdrive and distortion?
Does a close approximation of Roy Budd's Get Carter theme song. Pretty cool.
fancy, so cool...
I seem to get a volume drop with mine, it's not lined up with anything else, can't understand why its killing my volume
Perfect for one of their Hotone Mojo mini 5 Watt amps. No reverb in them, so here’s the solution.
I never saw him touch the center 'shim' button at all... I went through the vid a few seconds at a time... what does it do ?

@@ryanrguitarist thank you
edit that's a really subtle shimmer compared to other shims I've heardn
seems to be some distortion as you turn up the decay.
Does it works fine with acoustic guitar?
Does your reverb level control have a poor taper ? Mine is either off, or kind of high,
the subtle, mild settings are like a mm wide and hard to dial in. I couldn't even hear the shimmer
I have found that the difference between 0 to the amount of reverb I generally use is around a third of a turn, but it depends on effects loop I am running it through (on my Vox it needs lower settings than on my Marshall for example). The shimmer effect on mine is also very noticeably different to the regular reverb effect, adding a high octave to the verb.
thnx !
high E string is slightly out of tune.
What chords and scales are you using?
What was the song at :45
+MrGameAddic No song in particular, it's just a standard I VI IV V I chord sequence (although it might remind you of 'Stand By Me')
+Ryan Robinson | Guitarist what about the thing you started at 30, and thank you for replying so fast
nice demo! Got one too now, but it's a bit noisy.. is that normal?
I was wondering about that too. There's a hum sound, right?
Mine isn't noisy at all
I lose a lot of presence between settings, maybe that's just me being a dumbass. This pedal is totally worth the money, but it's not the sound I was looking for.
Edit: I will use this because it's got nice sound, but I'll save up, then sell this and get a blue sky or something
I've heard this little Reverb Unit sound really sweet ... the chunk-a chunk-a, slap crap is really annoying ... and does not feature the best part of a Reverb sound.
