In a dimension beyond ours, between space and time, there are machines the size of universes. Incomprehensibly complex and vast. The music they make is heard by one man. His name is REAPS.
Simply amazing. I’m a ridiculous NIN fan (top .01% of listeners according to Spotify). After 30+ years of listening to his music, it is such a gift to hear a fresh take. Especially these mixes that get down to the essence of it all.
I'm so excited about all these new Nine Inch Nails things I'd had no knowledge haven't done my homework forever I'm so excited I can't even think straight
So excited for this, keep making these mixes man! Ever think about tackling Rammstein? I know NIN makes their stuff available since Reznor is a relatively nice dude, but man, what you could do with some of Rammsteins beats, like Ich Will... Either way, you've got an incredible talent. It's only a matter of time before I love music in a movie and see the credits with "Reaps"
I thought Trent was pretty amazing considering he wrote and produced all his music himself. He is the band, Nine Inch Nails. I've followed him back when no one listened during broken and fixed labels, and yet wet behind the ears. But you are it's grit, the milk from it's tit and the meat in it's teeth.
Not gonna lie, it's rare to witness a remix of "The Downward Spiral", which makes me feel like that the track itself is (ironically) the eponymous album's black sheep because: A) It ain't much of a highlight towards the majority of the fans out there as its overshadowed by far more popular tracks like "Hurt" and "Closer". B) It sounds dated and lost its nightmare fuel factor while being viewed as filler or weaker to its previous track "Reptile". And C) The fans probably don't like it and simply skips the track while listening to the entire album. Anyways, I like how the remix fades into Quake (1997)'s theme song (Interlude), too bad it feels rather unfinished without Reznor's vocals as the protagonist's split personality AKA "The Machine" taunting in the background.
I've listened to every song Trent puts out, each song a work of art on it's own. Each Halo has its favorite track or two but I does not take away from the albums. Mainstream focused on a select few. But bliped past kick ass works. I'm gunna be 42 in January been a fan since I was 12 as most would agree Trents music got me through some really tough times and through the music i was able to free myself from negative feelings. And dark dark emotions. I still battle my demons but not so openly this time. Thank you for sharing your rendition of this
you should make another gave up remix with more lyrics and not the wake up part more like the fixed version, i will pay for that song def. like your work keep it up
Your work is great. The collector is your best. But every song you've done with the rolling snare drum, that rolling snare drum needs to be cut or changed. Your better than that.
