I do not understand how you got the wire through. My 02 Limited has a rubber gasket in the way and no matter how many ways i feed the wire, it never makes it down through to the door
Late AF to this but I would have cut the plastic around the bolt, put on a nut or 2 to give you space & metal on metal. Then, I would used another nut to install the ground wire.
I have an 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee and mine doesn't have that convenient whole like yours and my passenger door is set up differently I have to find a different way to do it. Thank you for you're video awesome idea with the double battery I might do that also.
Hey man, there is this video in Spanish and the dude show a good way to run the power wire. Remove the Coolant overflow and a couple of screws off a relay panel looking thing right in front of the passenger area by the firewall. Pull that thing back and you should see a rubber grommet that drops you off in the passengers side kick panel area. Run your power wire down the rail and ground your amps to the seat belt bolt. This is what I am telling myself to do, I hope it helps you out as well.| Best Wishes

What a stupid spot for the mult misc cd player. I have an 04 and I couldn't find it in mine because I never thought to look in the back. I've never really used it. Do you know if it's possible to keep the cd changer with an aftermarket cd player?? Why exactly did you add another battery.
Kind of not really. Yes they need air but not a lot. Think of you average car trunk setup in the summer it's 110 out side in your trunk is easily 140+ degrees Fahrenheit, And your avg drive is only 15 - 30 mins. More fresh air would help the life of the amps maybe...
I am running two yellow top Optima batteries in parallel one in the front stock location and one in the rear of the vehicle without an isolator. I'm looking at upgrading to Full Throttle batteries or XS Power Batteries. The Optima Yellow tops have been great they're about 8 years old so they got plenty of life but they're just newer and better technology out there with those other brands
I'm a hypocrite because I drive around with all kinds of crap in the back of my WJ, but my wife's sister's fiance was killed when he drove into a ditch and a battery in the backseat hit him in the back of the head. I'd secure that potential missle somehow.
Yeah dude... there is this video and the dude shows you in SPANISH how to run the power wire through the passengers kick panel area by way of a tasty grommet hidden behind a bunch of junk. @@FastestIntegra I wont ever say you should or shouldnt run it through an entry like that but, I think its more about water getting in through the grommet. Running it that way instead of through the firewall, you risk water entry unless you find a way a way to waterproof your opening after you run the wire.
Did that in my first car when i was 16 . Took a year but wore and the wire lit up like a fuse in a cartoon.. Whole car full of smoke and scared the crap out of me@ Much easier to take a minute and drill a hole.
Great but get rid of that nasty music in the background lmbo great video but I'm sorry can't listen to that LOUD MUSIC, DON'T MATTER THE MUSIC IR WHOM ITS TOO LOUD AND ANNOYING,😅
Something cool I just found out is there is a hidden grommet on the passenger side. If u pull out the overflow jug and computer you’ll see it

Was going to drill a hole through the ac heater vent that is under the wipers. This is much better for what I'm doing
This is awesome! Great video.

Where did you get that hot gauge wire? Looks way more flexible than the ones I’ve found
Skyhigh car audio is the best
The back seat folds down all the way? Looks like the amps would block it
The amps are not blocking the seats in any way. Thanks for the comment
The amp under the back seat is stock guy it comes that way so the amp is meant to be there and is set up to not interfere with the seat in anyway

So all your amps are under the seats. Have you had any issues with the amps getting to hot due to air flow issues.???
I live in a very hot climate in the summer it gets up to 115 degrees outside and I haven't had any heating issues with the amps.
How is that ground location working out? Did you isolate the two batteries?
Working good not having any voltage or amperage drops
No battery isolator. Running the batteries parallel
Perfect! Thanks for posting this video. Very helpful.

Bass requires great power and some need a audio system battery to run smooth
What's the name of that fuse box? This would be perfect for my sub set up
Rockford Fosgate
GROMMET BEHIND AND BELOW BRAKE MASTER DRIVER SIDE BEHIND INNER FUZE BLOCK
Yeah that's what I showed in the first minute of the video not to go there you can but it's a waste of wire LOL
Are you running the stock alternator ?
Yes, for now. I'm looking at getting a 200+ amp High output.
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to audio but don't you need a bit more space for the amplifiers to cool down? Awesome build btw 👌

How much 00 AWG did you run? I'm seeing kits for 17 feet. You think that'd be enough?
Yeah 17 should be good.
You could always go down to your local car audio shop and pick up an extra few feet to your Big 3.
