You had me at headphone jack. I'm a pro audio guy and I use my phone to check computer audio all the time. No headphone jack isn't an option for me. I'm glad someone still makes a phone that has one.
@@jordanmcminn998 I do carry a usbc and lightning adapter because clients will hand me a phone and say "play this". I don't want to have to carry adapters in my pocket just to check an input or test a sound system.
I'm glad that one plus included a headphone jack, micro sd card slot and a charger in the box. I always include a charger in the box whenever I upgrade to a new phone. I use the headphone jack with the 3.5 audio splitter to connect my sennheiser hd 600 and my rode lavalier go mic when playing games and talking on the phone on my sony xperia 1 iv so I get 0 latency audio. I also use the headphone jack and battery case for my pixel 4a 5g. Using a 3.5 mm headphone adapter with the battery case does not work, I tried it on my friends lg phone and the usb c on the battery case can only be used for charging since it does not output audio and data. When plugging in my wired headphones to the headphone jack adapter on the battery case of my friends lg phone, the audio is still being played from the phones speaker not from the headphone jack adapter. All usb c ports are not created equal. The 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter has 2 varients, one is digital and the other is analog, however the digital and analog 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter looks exactly the same. There is no discernible difference between headphone jack adapters that are digital and analog just by looking at them. You have to look up the specs and see if the phone accepts the digital or the analog 3.5 headphone jack adapter. Some manufacturers accept only digital 3.5 mm headphone jack adapters and some manufacturers only accept analog headphone jack adapters. The universal headphone jack went from being universal to proprietary because of the manufacturers wanted to turn it proprietary. It's like the manufactures took the headphone jack 3.5 mm adapters and made it proprietary like flip phones that uses different kinds of charging ports. Some of the old flip phones had different varieties of charging ports to charge the phone, some use micro usb, a barrel connector, certain number of pins. There was not really a universal way to charge a flip phone and the same thing is happening to the 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. For example, the headphone jack for a samsung phone won't work with a motorola phone, the headphone jack adapter for the motorola phone won't work with a htc phone. The headphone jack adapter for the samsung phone won't even work with the samsung tablet. Someone on youtube tried the samsung headphone jack adapter from there samsung phone to there samsung tablet and it did not work at all. Certain headphone jack adapters need the battery from the phone in order to work to power the digital to analog conversion inside the headphone jack adapter to drive the impedance of the wired headphones, however using this method will drain the phones battery. The headphone jack adapters all look the same and there is no brand name on the headphone adapter to tell the difference and it's not labeled so you won't know if it will work with your phone. The headphone jack adapters have cause fragmentation. The headphone jack adapters are made proprietary to certain phone models. Using bluetooth headphones are just e-waste since the batteries are not user replaceable and already have issues to begin and it does not help since manufacturers are fighting right to repair since they are selling products with planned obsolescence and profit as there main priority and longevity long term is there lowest priority. There are wired headphones that have user replaceable cables and are removable and more affordable than buying a decent pair of bluetooth headphones that you have to constantly buy multiple times when they stopped working. My wired headphones even outlasted my bluetooth headphones and still work to this one day and I have a drawer full of bluetooth headphones that are broken, stopped working on one side, the battery drains very fast and they all use micro usb because usb c for headphones and chargers did not exist at the time when I bought them and most android phones and bluetooth headphones and speakers were still using micro usb.

Do you wear the t-shirt out and about?
wow $300 is considered cheap
Very cheap
Obviously being compared to $500-$800-$1200-$1600 phones
Best buy has it on sale for 150 dollars 50percent off less than 3 weeks later with activation. I contacted OnePlus support and they said they can't price match me. So I am charging back and keeping the phone fuck you OnePlus I've been a customer since the OnePlus 1 and this is how you treat your customers.
NO IP rating!? Dealbreaker.
I had the OnePlus one
Or the ONEMINUSONE
I like Lisa
lcd? No thanks.
If only this had been IP68, it would've been perfect!
(and an aluminum case, not glass on the back)
My OnePlus 3 has still been the best phone I've ever had, and the Nord (1) has been a disappointment in comparison...
Looks like an asus
OnePlus phones are garbage and OnePlus customer service is non-existent. Our OnePlus 8T got a green line down the middle of the screen and the thumb reader stopped working. OnePlus said we could return it for a 6-10 day repair. The process to send it back alone took over 3 weeks. They've had the phone over 6 weeks and it's still not repaired. They said they don't have the parts and it will be another 2 weeks before they get the parts. I'll believe that when I see it. Customer service is totally disorganized. They lose track of the stairs of our case when we provide the reference number and ask us to mail them the phone when they already have it. I doubt we will ever see that phone again. The new one plus phones may have decent features but if something goes wrong with it you will be s**t out of luck in terms of repair and customer service. Many people have had the same experience as us.
Was it a non-US model?
I think the latest models don't have this issue
No way in hell I will buy a Chinese made phone
Boy are you in for a surprise.
