I think the main problem or downside to this phone is only one Android update. If it was two in this phone I think would be a really good buy. But anyway that's my thinking
This phone is kind of interesting One Plus N30 probably good deal to switch Metro By T-Mobile with number port in from previous carrier , you probably can get this phone for free discounted your number ported from previous carrier
Yo guys are jokers...I think a phone network system is important in a review...I have Google this phone and it says it's a GSM and CDMA phone....if you are doing a review please include the network capabilities of the phone....
It is a good phone but there are just things that i don't like about one plus. Firstly the 50w charger doesn't use usb pd, so you must use a super vooc charger. I also think 128gb isn't enough. My phone is 256gb and even then I'm about to fill it up. Also no amoled is definitely kinda lame. I understand that almost no phones have amoled for $300, but the moto edge is $350 and has a flagship level display (amoled, 144hz, 1300nits brightness). Also the moto edge has the dimesity 1050 which is definitely better than the 695 ( I had the n20 5g). I definitely want the 50w charging but I'm willing to wait for the edge 2023 has im pretty sure it'll have atleast 40w pd charging. The n30 is fine if you don't mind the comprises. Don't get me wrong 50w charging is legendary for a phone in this price range. I think it beats the moto g power 5g and the a23 5g, but it really doesn't compete very well with the phones that are in the $350 to $400 price range.
You have some valid gripes but this phone isn't competing with the $350 or $400 phones; it specifically targets the budget crowd who just needs a cheap, good phone for a year or two that doesn't cost $300 or more. This one costs like $265 at Tmo or probably free at Metro so at that price what's there to complain about? Most would argue that this is way better than something like an SE 3 (chipset not withstanding) that costs $430. Sure, you could spend $150 more and get like a One plus 9 G with flagship specs or a Motorola Edge, which is what I would do. Oneplus didn't make this phone to appease phone snobs like us. I used this phone for a couple days and it's actually pretty good. SD 695 and the 120hz is smooth and the big LCD screen is not bad at all. Of course OLED woulda been nice but at a sub $300 price? There doesn't exist a phone out there with all that for this price.
Ihave this phone in my idea of use this powerful phone is good for watching videosand gaming but not purfect but purfect for the price amazing battery when iphones dont have 5000mah batterys and thare so expenceve this is b Good phone
No there was on the previous version the N30 5g but for some reason there is not on this newer variant. I do like the Omoji feature it's like iPhones Memoji and Samsungs AR Emoji on this variant it's just a nice little easter egg I didn't expect and cool to send animated video messages and stickers
Purchased it on sale from Amazon at around $200. The price to performance ratio at $100 less than it's standard price is very satisfying.
how do you add the micro SD card and which one is the best to use with this phone? Thanks

Unless I read it wrong I'm pretty sure T-mobile advertises 2 years of updates from what I saw on the feature list of the phone on their website.

Metro is fine if you don't mind having your internet speed capped.
It would have been nice if they would have at least put the wireless charging in that and gone with the newer software
You never owned a OnePlus. Really silly when you don't know the wired charging speeds smoke wireless charging away.
where can i find a good power bank for it?
that supports SuperVOOC charging
UGREEN brand on Amazon
They can keep NFC and finger senor and in exchange give us a wide angle lens... 🤷♂️
Kevin its a Nord N30 5g
Not a Nord 35g

Will this phone being getting android 14 update
My understanding is it just rolled out so yes. That said doubt it gets Android 15 they only committed to one update.
Great job!
Does it has ultra wide camera ??
No and that's one really unfortunate thing about this..
Is there always on display

Does it work with Verizon cell towers?
I could be wrong but I think it's a GSM only device, and Verizon is CDMA.
