- In this video, I am handed a pile of parts from a Husqvarna 150BT backpack blower. The customer stated it didn't run, claiming the coil was bad. Watch the video to see what was wrong!

Walbro kit k20-wya, same as Echo 8010 blower. FWIW, Walbro says never use USC cleaners, they wreck main nozzle check valves
I’m having problems with this carb and need the replacement carb number please ?????
So after running bad gas nd piston got messed up so i changed it and changed cylinder, fuel lines and carb including fuel filter and blower still wont start, i changed carburetor, after running bad fuel it ceased and i couldnt retract recoil starter, but after changing cylinder and piston, i can retract recoil starter but engine wont start. At some point it started few times and then dies real quick. Any help?
To fire, the engine needs spark, fuel and compression. If you don't have spark, check to see if the coil is grounded somewhere. If you have spark, spray a little bit of 2 stroke fuel mix into the carb, try starting it, and see if it runs for a few secs and dies. If it does, you likely have a fuel delivery issue (carb, fuel line, filter, leaking gaskets, leaking crank seals, etc). If it does not, given the past history, I would double check all your recent repair work (all piston rings installed and in correct locations? cylinder base gasket in good shape? etc).

Check the kill switch before you disassemble the entire unit.
I didn't disassemble it. It arrived as you saw it.

I have one of these that is 1 year old, and it just developed a problem. After running at full speed for about 10 to 15 minutes it begins to bogg down and slowly shut off. I cleaned the air filter, cleaned the in line gas filter (that didn't look bad) and blew out the gas cap vent. This last test after 15 minutes it started to bogg down I took it off and kept it in full throttle and took the gas cap off and it still bogged down till it died. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Does it start right back up after it dies or do you need to let it cool off first?
@@JoesGarageProductionsLLC starts right up again but once warmed up it will bogg down at full throttle. I gave up trying yesterday and took it to a repair shop. It all this cheap junk they make today. I bought a backpack blower back in 1988 and had it about 15 years and it never broke down ever. I should have kept it. Thanks for the reply.
My unit just shut off midway through using it & won’t start back up! Any idea what could be the issue of what I should check?
Hard to say. You could check for vapor lock by loosening the gas cap and see if it is then able to start. If that doesn't help check for spark you might have a bad coil
@@JoesGarageProductionsLLC thanks for info I checked earlier to see if gas was flowing and it was. I’ll check for vapor lock now. I was also thinking it was maybe spark plug because it’s about 3 years old and always worked fine.
@@fenkellmoney8034 ignition coil failures typically present themselves as the engine suddenly stopping and never starting again, or stopping once it warms up and restarting only when it's cooled off.

I hate to say it but these stuff their making today is not as good as what i bought in the 80's & 90's always got 10 or 15 years but not anymore
100% agree with you! Esp with all of the electric/battery powered stuff being made today, it is going to become more and more difficult to find gas powered stuff in a few years.
