I agree. It always bothered me that Heroes had to go through a lot of training and preparation while the villains were almost always strong right out the gate.

Typically in shows if the villain comes back, they only come back stronger with a new trick or two. But with each loss, Shigaraki learns and grows which is honestly so refreshing. Plus Chaos!

Overhaul believed that quirks where a disease and should be stopped and wanted to cure society from it
While Re Destro believes that quirks are a gift that everyone has the right to use at their full potential with nothing stopping them
Overhaul leaded a gang , Re-Destro leads An entire army
Overhaul didn't have a real job , while Re-destro is a businessman and the CEO of a huge support items company
Overhaul didn't want to dirty his hands and left the dirty work for his subordinates , while Re-Destro is ready to do the bloodiest and most gruesome things by himself in order to achieve his goals
Overhaul helped deku develop himself and realize his goal , while Re-Destro helped shigaraki , deku's arch-nemesis , develop himself and realize what he really wants to do
And this Last one is the most ironic one :
Overhaul lost both hands while Re Destro lost both legs
but Chisaki is a hypocrite cuz he didn't want to lose his

I guess it's because his voice is Sanji
I’ve often heard Re Destro compared to deku in the past. Both are idealists who want to change the world ,who deeply care about their allies, and have quirks that boost their strength in percentile increments. Plus just like how deku had to grow as a hero by fighting a counterpart to shigaraki with a similar quirk (Overhaul), shiggy had to grow by fighting a counterpart to deku with a similar quirk (Re Destro). It’s like training rounds for when the two clash for real

He had a battle with giganticmachia for a month in a half straight and barely got any sleep before this. Re-destro is light work compared to giganticmachia.

Shigaraki somehow naruto running around redestro with no sleep/food and casually tanking large building destroying attacks with ease. Ok
Shigaraki's speed looked almost as fast as Rock Lee without his weights. That's pretty scary when you combine it with his decay.
Notice how, during his awakening, his eyes are finally completely visible, and the hand-mask that covered his face is missing. It's almost as if he doesn't even care about holding back and being seen, even tho he's a villain

For so long this season I wondered who the dude in the suit was and what quirk he had. I've gotta say, Re-Destro's Stress quirk is one of the most original powers they've come up with. A really interesting spin on the "stockpiling quirk" concept.

The plot armor on some of these villains when the writer wants to develop them is ridiculous. First Toga, then twice, now shigaraki.
All of them would be dead if the writer didn't literally just go " mmmm nah they're still alive ".
Giant dude literally crushed his hand and its fine with just a little blood. Literally sent him flying with a big destruction orb, and had MANY chances to just crush his head.

I saw that shigaraki's/tenko's arm broke when he used his quirk too much, so that's it's weakness, even though being an absurdly overpowered quirk his arm can get broken if he uses it too much, kinda related to OFA.
If Deku got ReDestro’s stress quirk, forget One for All, with all the trauma he went through he could beat All for One without breaking a sweat.

The fact that tomura doesn't have any speed, strength or combat enhancing quirk. It's quite impressive that this is the results of his training, because physically, he's technically quirkless... While Izuku while quirkless should've took notes, and trained his body and skills before meeting All Might. He said he wants to be the type of hero that protects people right? That means fighting villains, and being in dangerous situations. If he trained maybe at least 2-3 years early, I can see him handling about 45%, depending on how often he trains... Well In his quirkless form, I could see his speed, and skills be on the level of as he would be at 30% ofa, while his body can handle 45% ofa
