Don’t you wish you knew her objective stats, like SAT score, GPA, course load and difficulty, and AP exam scores? Don’t you wish people were judged, not by the color of their skin or sex, but by the content of their character? I’m all for giving a boost to kids who are impoverished, but being black isn’t a proxy for that. She’s clearly well off (looks like both parents are involved, plays tennis, time for lots of social media, etc.) That’s not diversity. It’s a farce. Show us your stats!

thank you! Since I’m not a California resident, the UCs are not cost effective for me. I’d be paying out of state tuition at the UCs and I’ve learned that they don’t provide need-based aid to out-of-state students.
