The base is inspired after the Arrakeen palace compound. Still have a couple of tweaks they have to make (Paul's Ducal Ring is on the wrong hand, crysknife base needs to be darker near the hilt and the nose filtration plug is not wrapped around his ear but it's near the jawline). I secured mine with your code Will so thanks for that man. As for the pronunciation of Muad'Dib it's 'mo uh deeb'. Hopeful InArt adds more characters to this Dune line.

This is the first figure that has me considering rooted. Granted, I'm not sure I want this at all because I like to pair multiple figures on my shelves.
Maybe seeing part 2 will change my mind. Like the Joker, rooted absolutely looks more life-like and realistic however, I don't know I want to spend the extra money for it and I simply like the practicality of sculpted hair.
Part 2 def pushed me over the edge to secure that PO. Rooted all the way, big difference b/w rooted and sculpted this time around I feel like.
Had to preorder the Deluxe, I’m a huge fan of the 1984 original, and loved part 1, looking to watch part 2 soon.

I’m just worried about the rooted hair lasting as long as sculpted, both look great imo prolly gonna go with the sculpted version just out of preference

@@WillFoxification you inspired me to really curate my collection better, I recently got rid of almost all of my 1/6 scale figures to just keep 3-5 maximum as the centerpieces. Got too into 1/12 scale. So appreciate you my guy keep up the great content
Anyone know what taxes and import fees will be like when ordering from usa direct from in art? Taxes and import fees aren't charged when you checkout, just kinda worried what the final price might look like

Mannn this looks so incredible. My only hang up with it is I would rather have a part 2 Paul. What are the odds Inart makes a part 2 figure? Also do you think hot toys will dive into the dune line? (Not even sure if they have the license) thanks!
I don't think there would be enough of a difference for InArt to make a Part 2 Paul in the immediate future, but I also think the odds of a Hot Toys dune line is very slim considering that both InArt and Aug Toys are already producing licensed Dune figures. If you know you are going to want a Paul of some kind, I would put the deposit on this down, worst case scenario you cancel the order later and eat the deposit

Yeah, there’s not many differences between movies. You could use this for a part 2 display if you wanted to. I’m excited for it!

After Aug Toys posted earlier. I’m just gonna stick to their line to be honest.

Fair enough! I've only seen the review of the one Aug Toys figure, but I hope their others come out great! Personally, I try to live by the buy nice or buy twice motto, but everyone is different!
I feel like the only difference between Paul from dune 1 to dune 2 is the eyes. And that’s not enough of a difference for me to need an entirely separate figure/wait for that release
Well he becomes a fremen which we see with the tan cloak, he kept his fathers ring (which is on the wrong hand), the blue eyes is a sign of longevity in the Dunes/spice intake, and not only that, the signifiance of the eyes, showcases Pauls change into the true Muad'Dib and gives him control over his powers/visions, when that scene clicks with Paul in Part 2. that is him truly turning into someone extremely powerfull unlocking his true potential, which this figure does not represent at all. I would say the part 2 differences are quite big.
@@Rasgaard I understand the significance of the changes between 1 and 2.
However, at the end of the day 95% of the stuff is the same. Same suit same accessories, same head sculpt. Only difference is eye color and cloak.
And even though I would have preferred the figure to be based of part two I don’t see InArt coming out with an entirely new figure for those minor changes.
Here’s to hoping that Paul gets a new outfit for Dune Messiah and then we can have the beginning and end of the trilogy.
We'll see! Maybe a Dune Messiah version eventually!
