- The pump track is finally finished, I'm so stoked to have a full working track that is ready to ride on MTB and BMX at Brink bike shop. The shop is so rad and now has a super fun pump track for people to enjoy. We built a new roll in to get speed for the new additions built by Jamie, and now it's ready to ride. So me and Ben got out the dirt jump bike and BMX and rode the track for the first time to test it in both directions, which was so epic. The features definitely have potential to add transfers and jump options in the future, so in the next episode we'll be building a much jumps for tricks and hopefully some more transfer lines for the next riding episode. Enjoy the POV runs.

A hangout/observation area in the center would be cool. Benches, tables... Wait that sounds more like a jibbing area.
add some of those rotating chairs/stools to follow riders around the pump track while seated! Also would make for some very creative jibs I'm sure haha

To finally end the debate over what color the bike is... I did some research and observations, and the bike frame based on Marin's official photos is most similar to red (sorry Ben). The color I most closely approximated was #D22D1A, which has an RGB of 210, 44, 26. The lowest threshold for orange in this same spectrum region is an RGB of 210, 70, 26, with the G value being the determining number. Therefore, the bike is officially red.
I would say #D22D1A is indeed red. However, I do think the bike is more orange when compared to #D22D1A.

I mean, the center area probably needs a fire pit plus some merry-go-round / carousel type seating to watch everyone rip around the track.

U should make it a nice green turf in the middle so it matches along with the outside grass but try to make it cope with run off water as well. great to see another pump track matt.
i like the little pond idea with some rocks to go across for some trials
you can spray the surface with sugared water or bottles of coke,it helps bind the surface and kep dust down,we used to do this on dirt rc tracks,abroad they sometimes use molasses oil.

A nice elevated deck in the middle, tables and chairs kind of deal where people can hang out and watch.
Half pipe or a super burm in centre so you can use roll in and go straight to centre and take the pump track in the opposite direction once returning from centre piece.
Middle part of track should be a bbq area, with Fire pit and native grasses and flax and other soft-lading plants 🌱 and bark

Lay turf up to the edge and include the bank's that take care of erosion, then place a small shelter on the side as you walk up the roll in this will be the place you can chill and take off from. In the middle use flowing grasses this way track can be modified and just dig up flowing grasses and replant.
Central area to include a roll into the last berm so you can ride backwards that doubles with a bench underneath for a multistorey seating area
BBQ, picnic tables, meadow/wild grass
you can do a water cross jump on the latter section, lets say 2m wide. You can also think about skinny array there or something to train precision.

You should put a wooden deck with a small pool type of thing. With a BBQ area and some benches.

A big statue of matt standing on a roller holding a shovel with "YES I BUILT THIS ALL BY MYSELF FOR YOU PEASANTS SO ENJOY" written on the roller . Slap that right in the middle on a rotating table for all to see ! I know its a bit understated but i wanted it to be a subtle nod to matt as he did all the work !
You should add a few more lines cutting through the middle, it would add more variation and options for gaps and things like that. They have things like that at my local pump track and it adds so many more options for lines and overall just an improved pump track. Looks sick so far though too bad im on the other side of the world so wont be able to ride it.
Some kind of patio furniture 🪑 and grill would look awesome 😎

No, no a solar system would be sick, for an electric BBQ!! Also a battery-storage system for overhead LED track lights for night rides. - low lux-bleed but bright LED street lights are available that use very little power and don't have to very elevated like stadium lights typically do so that you don't create light pollution for the neighbours.
All of this could be incorporated on a central tower-deck (e.g. like an oldschool air field lookout design) in the centre overlooking the whole track, which means under the tower you could still build extra track running through the centre with the tower bridging the trail. Ambitious I know, but it would be one hell of a showcase & I know you guys have the skills.

Looks great to ride 👍🏻 my suggestion would be instead of the mulch jump to continue round and jump over the back of the berm back down the middle.
You need to treat that roll in creosote substitute it's about £8 on Amazon and it's dark brown probably the best treatment for the price.

Maybe a mini skills area in the middle with small drops, some sort of rock garden and skinnies. That way the bike shop can coach novices or people can do proper test rides.
you could combine the barbed wire with the BBQ grill and place a bit of tinsel on it to make it look nice and place that right at the top of the fastest berm as an 'eye-catching' feature.
