Great video Chris. I need stability shoes too and have the Mach 4, Endorphin Pro 2 (short distances only) Guide 15, NB Vongo V5 and my least used trail shoes - Hoka Challenger ATR 5’s. Saucony do have half sizes though. My guides and Endorphins are both 10.5 Hoka’s and New Balance I go up to 11’s with 10 being my everyday foot size. I’d like to try the Saucony Speed 3 or Tempus next.
Cheers Martyn. Yeah I did see that Saucony do the half sizes, but they don't do 12.5 so had to go up to 13. I'm thinking I need the Speed 3s as well for some longer runs as the Sen 8s are giving me blisters after 45 minutes or so unfortunately.
I just got the Speed 3 and Tempus, exactly as your plan. I am quite satisfied with the decision, wouldn-t trade them for anything. You won’t go wrong, good choices. FYI: One sad fact was that I had bought the Guide 16 initially, but my left foot didn=t fit well in them. It has a narrow toebox for me. Great shoe, but sadly my feet didn’t get along with them. I changed them for the Tempus (same size) and it made a great difference for my forefoot fit as it is wider there, whilst still getting the stability benefits.
I'm 6'3 220lbs, and i mainly do trail runs in the desert southwest of the US. I *love* my Speedgoat 5s.
I have enjoyed the few runs I've done in mine.
Great info Chris. Keep up the good work. 👍🏽
Cheers Dan 👍🏻
Have a wear of the Pro 3s before racing to give them a bit of a test run. They're a fair bit stiffer than my Speed 3s but even faster. Love mine.
I’m taking them to Parkrun tomorrow to give them a spin 👍🏻

Arh right. Yeah it’s a pain when you can’t get the size you need. Good luck with everything 👍🏻

I like the ON clouds and are my go to shoe
Which model Mark? I used the Cloudstratus before but really couldn’t get on with them.
I would always wear a new pair of trainers once just to see if they cause blisters or any pain.
