I’ve watched your three videos on preparing paint, spraying and cleaning. Awesome job at explaining everything. I no longer feel nervous about using this sprayer.
Thanks I do the same thing except I run about 3 containers of water thru and then take all the tip parts out and clean them also. I didn't see you do that? Also be good to have a second container just for cleaning with so your ready to go for next coat without having to dump the paint out.
Be sure to keep the tip pointing DOWN while rinsing the sprayer body! Water can easily flow back toward the motor...if this happens you will have to let it dry thoroughly before plugging it back in and spraying again.
Good video, but I just got the Finish Max Super and its a little different. Also the manual states to spray water first to rinse, then disassemble for detailed cleaning.
I’ve used my sprayer and cleaned it very well, about 6 times. The issue I’m running into now is that the brass fluid needle is getting gunked up. I was able to dislodge some of the material, but doesn’t seem like it’s able to be removed and cleaned properly.
I seem to have dried paint in the spray tip...I have cleaned and cleaned but no water runs thru the sprayer to clean out the inner mechanism. Any suggestions? I am mid-project, so totally frustrated! Thanks so much!
There is a nail in the back to open and take out the filter. You can wash, when is dry put it back. I feel very disappoint of the home right finish max extra. I used the first time to paint my fence. It worked well. The second time, It was working until suddenly stops and necer worked again. I Think it is a motor problem. I paid 106 dollars w/ taxes for this piece of garbage. It is a bad product and overpriced for a disposable product. I was unable to put a bad review. Amazon blocked my comment.
Hey Thea, Thank you so much for your wonderful videos--I'm painting my kitchen cabinets and found your videos to be the most helpful! I noticed that you're using BM Advance paint...do you recall at what percentage you had to thin it? I'm using BM Advance satin in my Homeright Finish Max (not the super) and I'm finding the thinning process to be a bit intimidating, I guess because I've read about a million different reviews on it. Ugh!

Hi, just received my sprayer, and wanted to see how to clean it, you made it really simple to clean, and for that I say thank you. Thanks again Rich!!
I'm trying my new sprayer out tomorrow for the first time and your video made me so much more confident! Thank you. 🥰
Tip: Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallow Fluff with the blue lid? That blue lid fits the paint cup on the Homeright.
Perfect demo and instructions. Thank you!

Thanks for making this video. Do you think you would do a similar process if you used something like polyurethane? Thanks.
Should we use distilled water to clean gun?
Thank you very much for your detailed tutorial and special cleaning tips, such as cleaning with a paint brush. On my way to clean my sprayer!

Do you know why my spray pattern is inconsistent when I’m spraying? It starts to look splotchy.
