"Beasts of the Southern Wild".......... Forgive me for this rather long winded post, but for as many years as you guys have been producing great media content from the Volvo, I have been watching it and quite frankly addicted. This edition I cant help but feel that something has gone slightly wrong. I'm not sure if it is the boats, the media editing, or just that the weather has been so different, but I was waiting for this episode with bated breath to see the Volvo 65's smashing down waves, going ridiculously fast and basically doing what a VO65 has been designed for. 7ish minutes of reasonable sailing footage amongst quizzes, buoy deployment, shore stories etc seems that you are missing the point. I might not speak for everyone, but we all want to see the action, and this is a recurring theme this year. It has by all accounts been a "light wind" edition, but more sailing and less in depth snapshots of wives, and shore life would be awesome. I love those bits too, but there's just too much. Have a look at the last comparable episode from the last race. It is an hour long and is ALL about sailing. ua-cam.com/video/qE1ebE34lac/v-deo.html...... I'm still a massive fan, but have not been glued to every clip and episode that you have produced and that is a huge shame. I know that one persons view doesn't really count, but I wonder how many other avid fans of this race feel the same?
This avid fan agrees 100% with you. I hope they get back to 2011-12 format and content this year...a few days from today. I couldn't get thru the 2014-15 videos start to finish.
andrew thompson Gill, Zihk, APS, Musto just . Some options there are some cheaper alternatives out their but in my opinion this gear should last you a very long time. And the investment is worth it when your freezing your ass off

Some of these sequences are literally giving me chills.
Had to leave video to 180 my priorities.
Where would one look to purchase personal gear for cold weather sailing??
