Bought my first Montero in 1987. I 've owned at least one every since. All the generations that came to America. I've never found a vehicle that I liked better at any price point. I surely hope that they return to America and are affordable enough for an old retired man to afford gracefully!
The Pajero Body is still being sold in china under license.. its sad we wouldn't get the giant do it all family vehicle Pajero is supposed to be. ie a 3.5 tonne towing vehicle
A Pajero (full-size SUV) sharing a platform with an Outlander? I only bring this to you because you want a full-size SUV that is body on frame and doesn't share it's platform with a "compact crossover" what kind of full-size SUV would that be?
The pajero has alway been there as a cheaper competitor to the prado. Now the market is competing against the new everest it will have to be a diesel, with a capable v6 or turboed 4 pot and come in cheaper than its counterparts like it has always been.
Show Outlander replaced Pajero in South Africa the Pajero Sport is still available in SA the name Pajero is Montero in America Shogun is a model in the Phillipines all new Pajero should look like one in pearl white it should launch in Australia November 2024 & South Africa 2025 than SA should also receive new Triton .

Pajero’s always had the best interiors. Having the 3rd row store under the floor was a great idea.
Interesting discussion, we loved our Pajero NT when we had it, 290,000 kms without a spanner used on the motor.
Hope to see a new Mitsubishi Montero in U.S in the coming years ❤️
Guy’s, it needs to be a good tow vehicle here in Australia to compete.
Plug in hybrid... they still need to do a base model with a naturally aspirated four or six cylinder engine
what i like about my pajeros is a manual handbrake not an electronic hand brake & independent suspension
A wider bodied Pajero 7 seater Hybrid with long range would be a winner with school mums & 4x4 weekend camping trips .
Retro look phev would be freakin awesome.

A tank 700, Pajero .
Ruined the legacy of Pajero if the blue one comes into life
Do you guys like the new Chinese trends? Haha
Pajero wouldn't be a pajero if it's not diesel.
Pajero should be an EV.
So it’s going to go soft as per Pathfinder, great👎
