So, I am locked out of my user profile. I can't sign in with my password at all. I have to get a single use code that is sent to my email to sign in with. I can't type anything in my search bar. Nothing happens. Menu won't open when I click on the start icon. I have to right click the start menu icon to get a menu to open where fortunately I am still able to access run and manually enter prompts. I have tied several fixes and followed several tutorials to no avail, including the ones in this video. The problem only seems to be cascading. I have uninstalled all antivirus programs, did all updates, tried restarting my computer from Windows several times. Admin access is denied. I tried regedit. I tried so many things. I have no files on my computer to backup because I already lost them when I didn't realize I had moved everything to a temporary profile that would delete them when the computer shut off. I had no idea what had happened. I am at my wits end. I can't really use my computer. At this point I may as well not have a computer.
can uh plz help me when i followed ur step 1 it denied my access i am having a prblm becoz of this i've losed my some imp folder and coz of this no app nothing is opening except google and some 2-3 apps even when i shutdown my laptop and start again what ever is on the desktop gets dissappear whatever i downlaod it before shutting it down plz help me...request uh
Please help. I did the steps and the message saying that I’m in a temporary profile is gone, but all the stuff I had is gone. It is basically like a new computer I’m starting with. What should I do?
Bro, I moved the folder to the temp account and restarted pc. After restart, my account was normal but without that folder (because it is now on temp user which I don't know how to access). Is there any way I can go back to that temp account and take my folder back ?

Do not delete the folder with the .bak file extension. Delete the folder that has the Temp profile and rename the folder with the .bak extension You rename it by simply removing ".bak" but do not delete the actual folder.

You do not have to type anything in the box...It's registry editor Follow it from 6:40...Open registry editor and follow it from 6:40.
I can’t access my search toolbar. Whatever happened to my laptop has stopped me from accessing it so I cannot run command prompt in admin mode.
Right click on bottom bar > Hover to Search > Select Show Search Icon.

It doesn't give me the option for windows account. It gives me a window like a folder with 2 folders users and groups. That's it.

i just deleted my user by deleting that file from profile list it didn't worked for me so i just took a backup and created a new user 😔😕
