But the Windows account I need to copy uses a Microsoft account and I cannot use this same account in a new one. Can I set up a new account without a Microsoft account initially, copy the files across and then attach that Microsoft account after deleting the original Windows account? First I moved the user files from the C drive to the D drive on the computer. The C drive does not have enough space to do anything. So, I would like to move the user files back to the C drive on the computer.😮

he did say that you can then copy your files over from the old to the new! That's how this video helps! If you don't know how to copy over the Desktop, Pictures, AppData files, etc, search for that video.

Try checking your D or E folder. That’s where I found my data. For unknown reason the user data is transferred there.

Windows won't take you to an account, you have to select the NEW account you created at bottom left... assuming you did so correctly!
