August 1944. This is it. We're gonna liberate Paris. The French Second Armored Division and the US French Infantry arrive at dawn. That means we move tonight.
No HUD in 4K for full immersion.
All footage is captured at 4K Ultra on an Intel 13700K and EVGA FTW3 3080.

Legitimately a great mission. You could easily forget what you’re supposed to remember if you don’t pay attention
I have to play through the mission to see where all the interactions are before turning the HUD of. Even then it can still be easy to forget

Yeah the insignia is all wrong and all over the place, makes this game look fake AF! Wehrmacht having Waffen-SS armbands and mixed insignia from different brands etc. Flags are censored and sometimes they are not. I like the 90s better not this PC era of correctness...

Some officers are wearing green Waffenrocks. Since the officer was older-looking, the uniform was supposed to be grey, because the green Waffenrocks were only issued after 1939.

All the censorship and inaccuracies of the uniforms is painful. This is why CoD: World at War provided the most authentic experience of any CoD title set in that period. Nothing controversial was held back and every detail, even down to the smallest in regards to uniforms, flags, and so on was authentic. Loved it. But that was back in 2008. People today have gotten soft I suppose. Sad…

I always look for small details in games. Like when she unlocked the door there was no animation of her doing so. Its animations like that, makes the difference between a good and great game.

One of the best COD missions in recent memory. I wish there were more of these “hiding in plain sight” type of missions as opposed to straight up stealth.
The British dressed as a German has an eagle on his left sleeve like the SS but is clearly a wehrmacht officer.
Despite this game’s criticism, it is still more historically accurate than Vanguard. Though the mission is fictional

To be honest a lot of their uniforms flags and signals and stuff is cool yeah they were evil people with diabolical ideas and psychopathic minds but doesn't mean that they don't look good in their black leather drink coat to be honest just take off all the nazi paraphernalia and you could literally say you were Wearing a seen king shoot

You mean the iron crosses on their neck? That’s the german armed forces insignia.

The flags its easier to change, in the german version its a cross isntead of the swastika.
The reason why they censor the uniforms was becouse they would have to create more models for the uncensored version so to save money they just made the censored model for both versions.

The actress portraying Rousseau is actually german. As a Frenchie myself, I can even tell you that her french is great but not enough for a native speaker

Tuts halt echt nicht leider. Ist manchmal so seltsam find ich zumindest.
Thats normal there are many stuff that work in one language but dont work in other languages and words that don't even exist in different languages for example there isnt a word for gun in Bulgarian

Bro planted two explosives on two gates, one on the North, the other on the South.
Its cool to see him do that without alerting a "Kraut".
Most people prefer a gunfight than just sneaking around.
You do not need to shoot anyone in the torso that many times with a BAR to kill them, unless they were equipped with some sort of armor. Proves how low this series has fallen despite this being a decent game overall.

Way better than Vanguard. Most fav campaign since 2017, a remarkable, immersive story. These years ACTIVISION invested their money in technology, art, and everything except vivid plot editing.
Can someone please make a game where I can play as a Gestapo, wehrmacht, luftwaffe, soldier or officer, or even a specific person, checking papers, patroling streets, guarding political figures, builldings, events, transporting people, stoping assassinations, attending meetings, making decisions, making war plans, building military and civil stuff for the country etc. etc. Like a big ass RPG Strategy like German perspective WW2 game. It's always from the alliance these games are made, never from the other side..
GMOD 1942 RP. Look at some videos, a lot of people are just racist and dont really care about History or the war but if you are looking for a good one join one of those servers fun for history enjoyers. (Also No Censorship)

This is a much better ww2 COD game then the recent release one. Don't understand why the SS in black uniforms which were issued only in late 1930's, makes them look more evil I assume.
Aside from the black uniform that has been discontinued, why does the SD officer have a whermacht insignia
@@devincant6201 not just that 1st ID was not the first unit that entered Paris it was the 4th ID and 2nd armored division. This is why focusing on 1 unit on a ww2 game that covers multiple area is really bad. They had no issue showing various of allied units on the older titles why can't they do that in this game.

@@devincant6201 Because this is 1944, and the allies are basically knocking on the Reich's front door.
Imagine you're a German at this time. You're taking heavy casualties (resulting in near-constant shortages of staff and the need for field promotions to fill them), and the allies are close enough that they could arrive at any day. Are your primary priorities:
A) Uniform logistics: keep everything up-to-code, including obtaining the right uniforms to be distributed as necessary. Gotta look good, after all!
B) Combat readiness: Make sure everyone can reasonably be identified and people are in the spots they need to be to launch a defense when the inevitable attack comes.
Well,diplomats in other countries were allowed the black tunic and outfit,even at the end of the war and the rest is as you said,makes them look evil XD
(In my country which was freed in 44 some of the officers Rommel assigned wore the jet black outfit)
my opinion is that if the body is visible, hit in the stomach, if it does not appear, some of them did not die because the helmets from the head are hard
Last time I checked, the SS stopped wearing the black M32 uniforms by 1939. That's why you see them in grey.

Yes yes very honorable... But you miss the point. All superpowers were and will be basically the same... The core difference is: history is written by the victors, the allied troops won the 2nd world war (too) so their truth is the truth. Bad axis powers... That time the Soviets were the victors too, then the cold war era came and from alliance they were sworn enemies... America in Vietnam, the middle East, or now their weapons are in Europe feeding a senseless war. Our Saviours 😂😂

everything nice beautiful wonderful, I don't understand only one thing, in front of the entrance to the building there are flags with a swastika (yes I know, not politically correct but historically correct) German uniforms are also fine except for the guard in a black uniform who I believe is an SD (security service) officer apart from his peculiar uniform, what kind of armband does he have who wore it I thought the NSDAP members wore swastika armbands and not Eisernes Kreuz
