The "DBZ Budokai 4" mod Project is a fan-made modification of the original "DBZ Infinite World" on PS2, running on PCSX2 emulator.
It features new gameplay, fixed fatigue system, new Comeback System, new costumes, new characters, new stages, new transformations, new capsules, new moves, new movepools, new inputs, new Specials, new RTFs, removed Aura Burning and many other Quality-of-Life improvements.
This Project was born from the collaboration between NIM and Dr. Doppietta, with the partecipation of other modders like SamuelDoesStuff, MetalFrieza3000, Gibz and ASTR47 / Trevon1344.
All credits to them.
About the matches: this match-up was requested by "Smeagol".
In the first B3 match, both characters had only "Breakthrough" equipped.
In the second one, Omega Shenron had:
* Breakthrough (all Specials + 25% dmg boost for 'em)
* Appetites of Man (+10% Attack)
* Black DragonBall (+30% Attack & Defense)
* Rage!!! (+30% Attack at round start for 30 seconds)
* Evil Grin (-10% Ki cost for all moves)
* Thirst for Earth's Destruction (+15% Hyper Mode Duration)
While Dabura had:
* Breakthrough (all Specials + 25% dmg boost for 'em)
* Turtle Shell (doubles Ki cost for dodges & teleports for BOTH players)
* Senzu Bean (gives 7000 HP & Ki upon activation, unused)
In the Budokai 4 match, Dabura had "Tenacity" equipped.
It's a new custom green capsule, ideated by me and created by NIM, which converts half of the damage received into Ki, when equipped.
Example: you equip "Tenacity" on your character, then get hit by a 1000dmg move, thus you gain half a Ki bar afterward.

Omega went Dragon balls with this one!! Jokes aside that Dragon thunder combo its so powerful that is scary and the fast pheased combat gives that Extra punch to the battles nice Video Doc
I'm sorry to say this, because I'm very nostalgic towards Budokai 3, but it really doesn't hold a candle compared to Budokai 4 mod.

I really like how you fixed the pre-battle camera pan of the second stage. Was that stage always destructible?
Not quite.
In og B2, "Snowy Mountains" had 2 hazards that kinda destroyed the stage, and actually changed it with the bottom of the pit.
Since we can't do that, we decided to make it destructible instead.
I need characters from Budokai 1 and 2 in the mod, fusions and transformations!

As far as I can remember, it's not in Budokai 2 either (at least on PS2, Idk about GC).

In OG infinite world, could Syn not even use his moves until he transformed? Or am I crazy?
You are absolutely right, in fact!
In B4, we modified this, making him able to use several of his Specials even in base form, while his complete transformation allows him to use his strongest attacks.
Ima need you to drop this already 😐 (Also wanted to know if upon launch weed have access to online mode or if we'd have to connect usin Parsec. If there's a discord I can go to for opponents I'd like that as well 🔥)
Budokai 4 v0.6 won't be out for *at least* a couple more months. I hope it will be ready by the end of the summer.
IW vanilla has no native online PvP mode, so y'all will have to either use Parsec or Moonlight+Sunshine to host a PvP session.

He could store DT since og B3 vanilla, and yes it can be used to counter teleports, but it's *very* difficult.

That's his new Super Move, which was taken from his BT3 "Gigantic Blaze".
The dropdown lighting is the release of Dragon Thunder.
The ki blasts volley is his new RTF, instead.

I never understood in infinite world when did you have this mini game during an ultimate attack where either attack or defense can win and when was the ultimate attack without this minigame and putting out the full damage?
Some characters had those, yeah.
But now they work differently.
In Budokai 4 each character has 4 special+ 1 ultimate attack???
No, they have 5 special inputs, which can host Supers, grabs, RTFs and Ults.
