You can also save money & make them yourself by adding any brand of colored embossing powder to clear UTEE. I've also heard you can tint clear UTEE by mixing alcohol ink into it- however, as a fire safety precaution, let it dry before using it.
Hello and thanks for sharing. Are there other options instead of using that cut up craft sheet. I only have one and am not going to cut it up. Can I put it in the melting pot without the craft sheet? Or wax paper or something?
Amber Dollinger Yes - you can put it in without the sheet. Just use something to lift it out as it will be really hot. Ot let it all cool off and then remove it.
Willie McCowan There are metallic embossing powders, but they aren't actual metal, just coloured that way. I know there is a metal moulding clay as well. Otherwise, I'm not able to help you. Sorry.
Found the Utee try to fine the melting pot at Hobby Lobby and Michael's an Joanne Anna's pretty you can not buy it in these store anymore, pleaseeeee bring it back Ranger to the stores It's disappointing when you watch the video then go to buy it and find out you can!t have to go on line it's a bummer! enjoy the video thank you for Sharing!
you can get melting pots on eBay for next to nothing. I just picked up a new one with a TON of UTEE included for like $30 I think it was with shipping.
Lisa Colorado yes it does. I use an electric pancake maker from the dollar store. It’s a really big flat surface to work on. You can also use an Iron turned upside down. Just be sure it’s an iron without the steam function (and the holes in the bottom)
Love the fact that you can do so much with these. Now I need to go find the colored UTEE powders.
