I've always wondered what if but was never brave enough until my grand daughter came over and picked up as many cup coasters as possible and heated up the pan! I nearly fainted but she said she had seen an amazing UA-cam video and she was going to teach me! So miss 7 did indeed show me and she had your video playing while she did it. She made the most beautiful coasters clearing me out of all my embossing powders etc. and I was left with 1 pretty coaster because she fell in love with the others. Thank you for the video and the lesson I loved it and I didn't mind using up my stash because I can now make more coasters and buy more embossing powder!
Oh, I LOVE this!! After getting your beach scene with 3 colors, I would think, "No, no, don't touch it -it's too beautiful!" But every time you did I was again in awe!! I so want to do this!
I started thinking i was crazy for saving the melted pieces of powder from my craft sheet. I had not one idea of what to do with them, but could not throw away such beautiful pieces. Thanks for solving this mystery!
this is so new to me using embossing powders for anything other than stamping with!!! I was in awe watching this! I'll have to find more ideas now, I have so much embossing powder lol
Oh gosh now I have one more cool thing to add to my list of projects. Where is that lottery ticket? Thank you for sharing such a beautiful craft with us.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I wanted to make earrings so I played around with this in my mind, when I went to UA-cam I found your video. This is so much fun.
I'm starting to realise that once you start crafting you will never have enough craft supplies. Its just endless. I'm going to have to get another job!
Oh . My. Lordy !!! That's just fabulous!! I never even considered using my powders that way!! I can't wait to get into the craft room!!! So now of course I'm wondering if this can be done on metal blanks?????? If so, the possibilities are endless!! I have a griddle plate just like that!!!!!!! Thanks so much : )
I’m obviously so uninformed in this technique. I’m going to look for a small griddle !! This is a great way to melt without open flame. Just hilarious, can’t wait to get a compliment on a pendant I made on my pancake griddle !!! It is just so ingenious!!!!
You just need to get a craft mat to put underneath your project to collect the extra powders and for easy clean up. There are many available on the market. I do like the ones from Ranger.
It is a chipboard shape. The chipboard is on top of a craft mat. • Ranger Ink - Inkssentials - Reusable Non Stick Craft Sheet - 15 inch by 18 inch --- ldli.co/e/5qy9yp [ Scrapbook.com ] --- ldli.co/e/3qodoj [ SimonSaysStamp ]
Candace Kieper that was mesmerising!!!! Wow .. that's definitely in my very near future!!! The chemist in me LOVES this .. and I wasn't quite sure how it was going to turn out, but in the end it was great!
It would be so very helpful to have the exact products listed. Can the round object, don’t think you mentioned the material, be heated in another way?? Pancake griddle just cracks me up !!!
The round object is just cardboard. You can use any embossing powders for the project. The griddle keeps the paper warm so the powders melt quickly. You could use ink and an embossing gun, but it wouldn't turn out the same. Using griddles is popular with people who use wax in their art.
Hi. Love this video. I'm trying to find the circle surface but I'm not sure if they are chip board or wood. Could you please let me know which type of surface it is and the size? Thank you.
@@ScrapTimeVideos Thank you. I cant find them anywhere. Lol. I might have to make them myself. Do you know if the circles are a little thicker, will the embossing powder still melt if on the griddle?
You said this was done on a laser cut from Clear Scraps. A laser cut what? What is the material? Love this process just don't know what to purchase as the base.
Hi. I am really love your video. So amazing. Can you help me? Can i use glass frit powder for making enamel on jewelry silver. Here is link of powder: www.warm-glass.co.uk/deep-cobalt-blue-opal-powder-frit-014708-p-1632.html?cPath=98_160
I couldn’t even watch the whole video, I’m not sure if it’s a man or women but she talks like she’s high or in slow motion. She talks so slow and longggg.
I wasn't looking for this video but it dropped onto my screen like a beautiful embossed pearl. Lovely work.

Wow!!!! That is super amazing! I adore this technique! Now I need more embossing powders!!! Lol
I'm starting to realise that once you start crafting you will never have enough craft supplies. Its just endless. I'm going to have to get another job!
@@kellicarmichael7462 I totally agree!! My husband does too lol! But it does seem like an endless void of supplies...a black hole if you will!
How neat! Thank you for sharing it!

💙💙💙💙💙 so beautiful!! thanks for sharing
Very nice, I am sure I can achieve this by using my easy press turned upside down.
OMG I so want to try this!! will watch more of your videos . . . one question - what are you placing down on the grill to put the powders on?
It is a chipboard shape. The chipboard is on top of a craft mat.

Hi. Love this video. I'm trying to find the circle surface but I'm not sure if they are chip board or wood. Could you please let me know which type of surface it is and the size? Thank you.
It is chipboard - around 6" - but you can make them smaller or cut rectangles. You can use cereal boxes as well.
@@ScrapTimeVideos Thank you. I cant find them anywhere. Lol. I might have to make them myself. Do you know if the circles are a little thicker, will the embossing powder still melt if on the griddle?
I think it will be fine. Try cereal boxes, cardboard boxes - whatever you have lying around the house.
Nice new application of this product. I find embossing powder to be somewhat expensive.
I had the video muted, so the whole time I was so confused until the end and then BAM I was shocked and amazed when I saw it all together :D
It's fun to do that with TV too!
Wow! 🥰
what kind of paper is that on the griddle?? wax? parchment? brown?...thank you...great technique
Rosario D'Rivera it’s a craft sheet
I’m thinking it’s “Teflon”
she replied to another comment that it's chipboard, and that cardboard could also be used as a base
Just come across this (yes I am late to the party) but how would u do this without a pancake grilled thing
You could just use embossing ink and powders with an embossing gun and layer them, but it wouldn't be as easy.
You had me at pancake griddle....
You said this was done on a laser cut from Clear Scraps. A laser cut what? What is the material? Love this process just don't know what to purchase as the base.
They were laser cut chipboard pieces. You can do it on a cardboard base as well.
What are these used for? It's gorgeous
You can hang them or use them as decorations.
On, cards, albums, any paper crafts. The world is your oyster.
Toll. Very nice. GLG Benedikta 🌞
Does all embossing powder do this
Some cheaper embossing powders are white inside - so you want to watch out for that. Otherwise, you can use most embossing powders.
Way Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
What temp for the griddle please?
She gave the temp in the very beginning of the video.
nice video
wow!
😍💗💗
WOW!!
Very nice. Great technique, I'm not a fan of glitter, otherwise I love you piece.
Ikr I never have understood that don't watch if I don't like goodness what a nut
génial super .........
Do you know what is in the fumes you are breathing?

Sorry - but I have never used Glass Frit powder, nor have I enamelled on silver jewelry. So I don't feel qualified to answer your question.
Expensive
