hey dylighted just a pro-tip from someone who always forgets how many points a game mode is, if you hover your mouse over the VP ribbon under your icon, then it tells you the VP needed to win.

Can somebody tell me why taking the double 6 or 8 on wheat and ore isn’t the right play? It seems like it would be extremely powerful especially on this board
Do you consider how forgetting the block has a butterfly effect on the game? I personally ensure that I pay more if I forget because their loses accrued from my forgetfulness may be worth we’ll more than one block. Is it common in tournaments to not have such an approach/ is it generally acceptable?
I suspect most tournaments are either voice chat or over the board, in which case you'd generally talk about what you were doing. That would give your opponent a chance to remind you about the agreement, preventing that mistake from happening.
Trying to learn vs bots.. can't count the times I've been stolen from when tied or even losing in victory points. Last game I was stolen from 13 times in a row. Couldn't play for 6 turns.
How come you never post videos of you losing? I'd like to see some where the numbers didn't go your way or opponents didn't make the trade you needed and you had a tough loss...
I plan on doing that! The main reason is because of audience retention and the UA-cam algorithm. Essentially I want to be able to post games where I'm relatively close to winning or win because it adds more tension and makes people watch to the end. I definitely am going to mix in more videos where I lose, but the ones where nothing goes my way and I get like 5 points I think can bore the viewer and leave them unsatisfied. If you watch me live, you'll definitely see me lose sometimes. Hope this makes sense

nonblock paid???! You blocked him 2/3 times! Nonblock sometime later in game is meaningless bc it will happen regardless! Every time you blocked what you thought the best spot was.
So unfortunate how badly colonist has shat the bed with their monetization. Definitely not helping the popularity of this game. Hopefully you'll be a more positive influence. :)
I had a lot of conversations with them as I wasn’t the biggest fan of their decision. In the next update ranked games should be free again but with ads.

Ads are a cancer of the last decade, can't believe they tought that was a good idea. And I am a willing paying customer, if price is $2/month I'll play close to a 100 games. Now it's gonna be zero.
@@normalguy5583 If you need to put a $80/year price tag on your game to survive, you're not viable. Even WoW was cheaper. No one would argue $2, as GeoGuessr is for example. How do they survive?!

In situations where you forget the nonblock twice, do you ever feel like you have to pay more as an honor thing?
