I fail to understand why your vlogs are underrated. Your vlogs are far far better than the most popular vloggers... I feel as part of your family while watching these immersing vlogs. Keep it going...👍
This adventure of yours is truly one of the most amazing yet! The landscape here, the clear blue descending sky, the blue mountains on the horizon made your video mesmerizing. As if you have reached the dream village in the land of the moon!! And the charm of the village was purest. Especially when you explore the village!!!
Thanks Carrie ☺ I never knew Ladakhi people existed before as it looked Tibetan / Nepalese at first glance, so great job in bringing this to our attention! It just goes to show how diverse India is in both culture, religion, language & race. I hope you befriended those poor sheep after they got the fight of their lives?! 🤣 So dal bhat was on the menu? You can't go wrong with that as I believe it's the traditional dish of that region & always delicious & healthy! By the way I'm headed to Bangladesh towards to end of the month as my health has deemed it safe enough to travel, so I'll no doubt be vlogging there & I only need one more subscriber to reach the magic 700 (hint hint) lol! 😁 Have a truly beautiful weekend my dear 🤗

@@carriepatsalis Thank you so much Carrie, I'm truly honoured! I will of course give you a shout when the first vlog is up, more than likely at the end of the month 😁😉🇧🇩
😅😅Carrie, you’re not just extremely funny, but you’re a brat too! I laughed hard seeing how you scared the sheep and their reactions. I loved this episode so much. Thank you. By the way, the kids are just as brave as you are. 😯😯I would not even dare to cross that scary bridge.
😁.. I am a bit mean very very occasionally! It’s funny that bridge felt a lot more frightening when I edited it… I think our adrenaline was flying so we just went for it!
I love your spirit Carrie. Such a down to earth human being with a perennial smile despite hardships and after seeing your Ladakh videos I surely have made up my mind to visit it soon, maybe next summer. The kids too are also with lot of gusto. Overall a lovely family and breathtaking shots of Ladakh. Thanks, keep adding more, eagerly awaited. God bless.
That village looks like paradise on Earth. So peaceful and the views are gorgeous. What I do not understand though is what do the residents of these small very remote villages do when they have a medical or a dental emergency. It seems like they are soo far from where these services would be available. That what would scare me the most - being unable to get timely medical and dental care.
Durga Puja starts from 20th October Please come to Kolkata from 20th to 24th, you will be amazed to see how Durga Puja is celebrated. Bengalis wait the whole year for these four days of the year. Lots of pandals, lighting, and lots of food to eat also many more things included in that time, I am sure you definitely enjoy if you came kolkata within that time 😇😇😇😇😇😇
@@carriepatsalis Yes you will have a lot of fun when you come here because Bengalis wait the whole year for these four days , I am sure you will see things in those four days that you have never seen before. I will say one thing again and again, visit Kolkata at least for these four days, otherwise you will not find this thing anywhere in India even throughout the year.

People go to all kinds of remote, back of beyond places. But you doing this scary trek with two kids in tow -- unbelievable. And the kids -- are they in their teens yet? -- seem to enjoy it thoroughly. Gosh, that broken wooden bridge! I skipped a heart beat when first the kids and then you crossed it.
Thank you! The boys are indeed teens now.. and they are good at staying nice and calm which helps.. one thing I forgot to say was that the hike actually took 6 hours in the end.. and they did say they never wanted to hike again.. but they had another 3 days to go 😂

Hello, come to Kolkata on 21st October for Durga puja. You gonna experience one of the greatest festival of India. The whole city going to turn into art gallery.
It is a very adventurous & nice blog. In Bangladesh in Sylhet area, there is 100 square miles area, which remains under deep water for 6 months & remains dry for another 6 months to grow crops. It"s name Tangua haor (watery place full with fishes). You will find such some other places also in neighbouring district Kishorganj. Hope you will visit these places in both rainy & dry seasons.
Little stream is used. In water mills .and thse water mills are used for flour (wheat , buckwheat finger millet etc)every where in himalayan region where there is no road nd my village also have 2 water mills which is actively used and with barter System only
@@neerajbisht8222 the landscape is identical.. when I think of like hunza and here.. the people look different.. in Ladakh more of a Tibetan look I guess.. the religions give it a totally different vibe though.. Buddhism being very very quiet , Islam being more vocal with call to prayer but essentially kindness and hospitality being as wonderful in both countries
Amazing video❤❤❤You can also visit Kolkata to enjoy Durgapuja festival. This festival is included in UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Only after a few days, it is going to start❤❤❤
