    That's a sweet set up brother. Just goes to show you don't need to mortgage the house to get good long range performance.

    Whats up @Who-Tee-Who and congrats to you and 🇺🇸American Ruger, 700yds that’s over 1/2ml shot with the 6.5 Creemoore that’s impressive.
    It doesn’t shoot like a budget gun to me, lm completely sold.

    I have been so impressed with the Ruger American rifles and the T/C Ventura and Compass. All three of those factory "Starter" Rifles Have shot So well. I have 2500$ custom rigs that dont shoot any better than a 400$ Ruger American.
    And the American 22 mag compact rifle is So Sweet too.
    Ruger has really stepped up for the working guys on these rigs.!

    Here's a real challenge for you and Alabama Arsenal. See if you can make a 22 LR reach anything at 1000 yards. You'll probably have to hold about a mile above the target, but just for giggles, see if it really can shoot that far. They used to print on the box that the range was one mile.. I never bought that, but just what is their range?

    • @WHOTEEWHO

      I have had that on my mind

    • @glennsosinske3260
      @glennsosinske3260 5 років тому

      It can be done, but it would be wildly inconsistent. It would be kinda hard to hit the broad side of a barn, but I'm betting the projectile would be lodged in the wood, at least.

    • @tootall5559
      @tootall5559 5 років тому

      @@glennsosinske3260 I'm not saying it would by any means be accurate, I just want to know if it can go that far and still be lethal or injurious.

    • @glennsosinske3260
      @glennsosinske3260 5 років тому

      @@tootall5559 yes, the .22lr can cause fatal injuries a little beyond a mile. Humans are pretty soft targets, if you really think about it.

    • @tootall5559
      @tootall5559 5 років тому

      @@glennsosinske3260 well first off, it has to make it that far. I'm not so sure it can do that. I know that at about 200 yds or so, I had to aim so high, and we were on top of a hill probably 100 feet higher than the target I've heard it can do this and that, but never seen any proof. An AR or 223 would have trouble reaching a mile, so a low power round like a 22LR, well lets see what it can really do.

    6.5 cm barrels are 1 in 8 twist, keeps high bc bullets stable way out their,, but I understand that the barrel life is reduced several thousand from a 308 caliber down to 1800 rounds or less which is a lot of shooting for most everyone. it's a good small Whitetail round out to 300 yards yards, plenty far enough for most everyone.. that was a beautiful range and great shooting love to watch your videos

From what I understand, getting all the equipment together is expensive up front. After that the savings on ammo(especially 6.5) is well worth it. That is what I got from watching you tube. Iv heard so many bad things about the 6.5 Creedmoor. In fact my neighbor got one for Christmas last year from his wife and said he really liked it when he got it but that when he took it hunting every deer he shot ran off and he's a pretty good Marksman but he said they ran forever some he never even found. And said the only reason he really wanted it was so his grandkids can shoot it with him in the stand. But he says now if he goes hunting by himself hey you need to take the 7mm08 or his 300 Win Mag. I'm not just heard this from him either. I doubt I will ever own one just for the simple fact that I have a 7mm08 but I usually hunt with my 338 Win Mag anyways. Just curious what your take is on it I've heard so many bad things about this cartridge did it really don't pack any knock down power.
