死が近くなったベットで寝ている父と共に、聴きました。音楽好きな父です。目を大きく見開き、聴いてくれているのがわかりましたし、なんと素晴らしい！！って、私と同じ様に感じてくれているのが、表情から伝わりました。貴重な父とのひと時に、感動をありがとうございました。
父は、天国へ行ってしまいましたが、この曲を聴くと、父が近くにいる様に感じられます。

I went to one of his concerts in France 2 months ago, and this song was the last song they played... while he got up a message appeared on the white screen which said :
"I feel heavy-hearted when I think about the pain of the world these two last years.

I never cried so much while listening to Joe Hisaishi's music.This man is an angel from another world... he embodies kindness and humanity.
Everytime i see this video, tears comes from my eyes. His music confortable me and keep peace in my heart. Thanks him bring such beautiful melody to the world.

I’ve bought this DVD and played this song hundreds of times. Every now and then I still get goose bumps when the piano begins.
I went to his concert at the Madison Square Garden this year, it has been the best concert experience of my life. I’ve been struggling with life recently, so many problems but his music was medicine for my soul. I feel so lucky that I could witness that concert.

Before the Australian lockdown first started, I got the chance to watch Joe Hisashi live and let me tell you, it was beautiful, especially considering at the time, Australia was still recovering from bushfires. So grateful I got to see this live.

when he performed at sidney myer bowl in melbourne i had not yet familiarised myself with his work. now i utterly regret missing the chance to see him.

本当にいい曲です。宮崎駿監督と久石譲さんたち、ジブリの映画に関わった方々に感謝をします。数日前もののけ姫を見て感動しました。自然と共存していくこと、人にはそれぞれの正しいと思っている正義感がありそれを押し通すとすると争いが起こってしまうこと、どんなにどん底に落ちても生きていればまだやり直せること、生きていくことの強さなど語り切れないくらい学びました。また見に行きたいです。

I would say something like "play this at my wedding" but every time I listen to this song I snob uncontrollably. I can barely articulate why. it just reminds me how beautiful the world is and how thankful I am to have the people I love in my life. I'm not a fan of clichés but I hope one day I get to slow dance to this song with the love of my life whomever that may be.

I am blessed to have lived this life knowing the Studio Ghibli films, Hayao Miyazaki and of course, Joe Hisaishi. I have listened to this piece thousands of times and this live performance brought tears to my eyes. Just beautiful in every way. May there be peace in this world to those who are yearning to live.
