as I sit with you "now," further experiencing "my" "me" unravelling as it was happening 35 years ago, the intense pain thru my gut, cradled in the fetal position, as the body experienced the pain and insanity that had been traumatically buried from 40 years prior, now so clearly seen and felt, 75 years later .... no time, just conscious experiencing ... thank you for your still and so clear consciousness

realising that i've had no sense of self at 25, and that i've been living in some kind of bubble of automatic responses, people pleasing and not knowing myself at all and suddenly you just wake up, is pretty devastating, now it's time to deal with my bs, and not to "find" but rather get to know myself.

Im 30 years old realizing ive been dealing with traumatic events from childhood with drinking and drugs. Im so lost. But I ask me and gos for answers. The more i find out about myself the worst things get. Its not an easy journey. But if i dont do it. I might as well fade the fuck away

a lot of this is describing my experience so clearly, and I feel lonely on the realization path or whatever you wanna call it quite often. So thank you for sharing some insurance that I'm not going completely insane! Although in relation to what's considered normal I probably am, but as you said, normal really didn't cut it

So grateful you posted this this same thoughtflow has been on my mind for a long time. Faces of consciousness grasping for identity or belinging and the emptyness i feel when let myself let go of chasing it . Wanting and being able to play into the story for the ability to be apart of the whole. But also knowing im the whole anyways. Thank you. Ive never been able to connect with someone about this. This comforted me immensely .
I'm having a lot of fear come up about this process, because of the pain I'm feeling and the pain I'm anticipating. But the only thing I know how to do is sit with it.

Thank you Suzanne, I'm in the process of untangling and making sense of what's going on "here", in my mind, just by trying to be aware/present/notice stuff and your videos are a huge encouragement, a sign post that helps me not get lost in the mental quagmire, lose confidence etc. 😊. The place of peace, emptiness, freedom that you speak of and from feels like an oasis, an escape from the burning sun, a place to recharge and learn how to go out in the sun without getting burned ourselves. ❤
We also have to subtly sense not to condemn what the "society" values,that can be another resistance of what is,yet when clarity is present there is a absolute knowing of what is prefered by "you"(partner,friends,hobbies are perfectly fine as are life presenting itself)you dont ask for outside opinions or second guess yourself.

Non dualists don't like the NDErs mainly because those stories are not comparable with theirs! NDE says there is a You and the You evolves and has choices
Problem with NDE, is that it is not actual death. It's near, however, the brain can do funny things, at what point is the brain completely dead and not able to utilize it's memories of perceptions, fear and other cultural things can persuade the perception. No one has come back from full complete death that had full brain death to my knowledge. Being told from other cultures, aka Tibet book of the Dead, what to expect, etc, they are a disservice to truth and freedom. If you were to study where they get their beliefs from, it is still set beliefs. Perceptions create belief.
@@rezazamani1481this seems like quite a generalised response. I heard Rupert Spira asked this question and he didn’t dismiss it at all. I don’t remember all that he said but I remember respecting deeply that he didn’t dismiss, acknowledged when he doesn’t understand things, and whatever else he said made sense.
I would say I subscribe to non-dual understandings, AND can see NDE’s are real and profound.
I also know I don’t have the answer. I think different viewpoints can co-exist. Different people have different experiences and expertise. And that’s ok
If no self is worse than this self that masquerades as me, I wish this body would stop being a vehicle for life. 😔

@@j0oi88 I wish. Problem is, my sense of self wants that. It had made a goal or expectation of it. I seek escape from self, suffering, problems of the relative life, and think this is the way out. It has become just another drug I use to avoid feeling trapped in myself, unworthy, shameful, hateful, despicable, unloveable, etc.

I guess im curious to know how you feel about love, the passionate romantic kind lol. Im confused, If youre not here nor is the other "person" then who is the love for? I dove pretty deep into the non duality thing a yr or so ago & have been single the whole time but im considering getting back to it but life & my way of thinking are wayyy different now. Im curious, since there isnt anyone then whos falling in love & who or what are we in love with? If its all conditioning then i guess the type of love im speaking of isnt actually real? I almost feel like its the game of love now rather then actual love. In the past, relationshipa were very real but knowing what i know now, getting back into dating is a very different thing now. These videos trigger me cause for me it's made life more enjoyable because a weight has lifted off my shoulders. The process though- I haven't had an awakening.
The fact that you watch these videos means you are awakened. Something led you here, with us…we all are going through this process in different ways…but let me assure you the days of feeling fear are behind us…realize the power you have within you and build everyday. You are here now…thats all there is, and we all are getting stronger in this everyday even if we dont realize it😊. Love to you all. We have all been through tremendous amounts of adversity…its our time now because the mask is off. We are all now in the world, but not of it. Im starting to realize we HAD to go through what we all have gone through to get to this exact moment. I dunno how the rest of this goes but not thinking about the future and just being present in the moment, im starting to really see how intricate and beautiful the world is, just nature by itself.

Some of these folks will simply claim there is no self and then float away into disconnected depersonalization only to find it that much more painful every time they have to reintegrate into this material physicality. In other yes, "Know thyself and take care of your own shit."

How do you know if you are doing it right or rather marching into depersonalization?
I am not sure she has not marched towards depersonalization herself. Do not lose connection with the nowness of it all. No goals or aims with it. Surrender to the ISness. Be. It's ok. When it all calms, listen, the answers are there.
You may march into depersonalization and even derealization
You may even question how you are going to function, job, relationships, bills, raising kids etc.
Especially when it feels like your world and sense of identity is unraveling.
In my experience I've noticed that necessity " kicks in" sure you may have a shift in how you perceive life, reality hasn't changed, your thoughts about reality has changed.
I don't know how the process will unfold for everyone, or if your on the right track, especially when dealing with the unknown and our sense of control.
The fact that you even questioning it is a good sighn, maybe a bit of trust and surrender?

No matter what is being said, it's all BS. It's all nonsense. The verbal form, all the words are just particles of imagined framework of a limited collective human intellect. What ever is sought after, is not to be found from the words, as the words are just the mere expression of an imagined reality. It is from this imagined reality where the whole idea of something missing takes it's arising from. Without the words, there's nothing missing. Without the words, there's no problem.

Well, what what people yeah, people people should be concentrating on instead of getting someone new all the time or thinking about getting what they want all the time the next man, the next boyfriend, the next sex or whatever how about thinking about? Hey, I need to get my you know what together and I need to show respect and love to this person, that's what they gave me, and it's what it's needed. It's what God wants. It's when people need. It's food like God's food. People have the treat people right if they want to live right. Would you imagine how the world be if everybody was on the same level of caring and an opening door for people helping people that need it people who are alone people who are in horrible circumstances or crying or or industrial need of health of any kind? One little gesture is all it takes to brighten someone's day to let them know that someone cares about them, and they don't even know them, and their own family doesn't treat them at all and any little inkling of love or kindness. Or some little gesture, and then all I I've always always always doing and and doing for others. Now, wait first comes your family, your mother, and your father's and your sons, then you help you know grandparents, and they help you. It shouldn't be all inside it and you you do it freely because and sometimes you do because it's expected of you said God expects you to love him because he deserves that, but he aint forcing you gives you free, will you know people come and play with words. All they want and manipulate things and people, but it's not going to do any good. I mean, that's what it is and I don't know what you say when someone don't believe in God at all I mean, I'm just like anybody else. I'm not a different route better, but I try a little bit more you know, sometimes different days, it's hard, especially when you don't get it back or you don't you don't get no reflection of that, and when you try you get s*** on or shut down or laugh? That made fun of many, many, many times block bombing, I'd never knew what that was they got worse for everything cloud. It's 11 cloud cloud cloud cloud cloud. I mean, what kind of person does stuff like that? What is the point of wasting all that energy? When you could feel good and waste no energy by loving somebody and showing him kindness, and love. Don't they want happiness, what could you? What would that be at it to me, it's demonic it's the devil. It's satanic. It's pure evil, selfish self-serving non caring heartless. I love that person at all the things I've done to me. I still love them but I will not and can not and must not deal with no more. Almost over 3 decades is enough with nothing given back that's enough, and you can talk all you want, say all you want cloud all you want blood ball. All you want, take back what you said, say it, you love somebody and then you saying that oh I need more time, i love them i want to be with you. I need more time. @@discoteque7768 Yes it has been however it's an ongoing process shaking old habits. I know the pitfalls of being caught in the web of too many ideas, words, theorizing which these videos can perpetuate at times. There is an antidote to the nonsense and it's not formal meditation per se. Being now is a form of meditation that never has to stop regardless of what you are doing. There is something magical in this BEINGness. However, we have been trained over time by various influences to separate from it. (Some even seem to be looking to separate from it including certain non-dualists who are walking towards depersonalization and more pain after the short-lived sense of freedom dissipates). Time to retrain back to that innocent state of the eternal NOW. Not with goals, ambition, motivation, or forced practice. It's more a letting go than it is a grabbing. Some would say a "surrendering" however this word may be misleading without further understanding. I would mention a teacher's name here but my comments disappear each time I write her name. Search "Masterpiece on Non duality, Neo Advaita, Future Spirituality." You may like that.
Mind you, this ISness includes YOU and your current identity in this body. It's not a running from that.
