Late game, go to Snowpeak Pass after the story scenario occurs and head up the north path until you find El Alicanto. You must beat him in a duel to recruit him.

Imagine training and fighting like a wrestler in a fantasy-like setting and actually being able to go toe to toe with some of the toughest of warriors. El Alicanto is no joke character that's for sure lol

I think the only reason I was able to defeat this guy in one of these deuels was because I had Nowa at level 57. So I was able to win easily.
