I like the version off the Bring on the Night album where they jazzed it up.
Oh my God yes my favorite
This is one of my favorite songs. A beautiful song. It's from my childhood. So that makes it super special. It was my sister's song ( RIP😢). THANKS FOR PLAYING IT.
You should listen to their song “walking on the moon” one of the most reggae tracks in their discography. God bless and happy easter.
We appreciate you Jamel! These reactions make me happy. Glad you are listening to this incredible music we grew up with.
The members of "The Police":
Sting: Lead vocals,bass and Keyboards
Andy Summers: guitars and background vocals
Stewart Copeland: Drums and background vocals
Those 3 were magical.
Everyone has heard their top songs! Their music is so beautiful and universal. Good group to really dig into, Jamal! After a hard week at working (from home now!) watching your reactions to my fav groups makes me smile. Thank you! And yes, the older music is much better than today's because the songs are ABOUT something, somthing important. They have messages. And again, thank you!
Always loved this song. Loved "King of Pain," too.
I'm so glad you're watching the Police and RHCP right now! Every musician in both those bands are top tier excellence 🤩 Especially Stewart Copeland and Flea
J, I completely agree with being an " old soul" and enjoying more of the older music compared to what's considered popular in 2020. I've listened to just about every genre I can think of. I'm probably about your age or so, so going back and listening to the music and watching the old videos takes me back. Thanks for all that you do. MD.
These guys are incredibly talented musicians, which was often overlooked because their songs were so catchy.
Yeah! The Police is the bomb, and this is one of my favorite songs.😍
I'm glad you like this jam!!
"It's a big enough umbrella But it's always me that ends up getting wet."🎵🎵
Stewart Copeland is the drummer, he's bad 4 real!😍
I'm so happy I found this channel, and a young man that likes and appreciates my type of music, see ya soon, on the next video.🙂🎵
I'm a big fan of The Police and it's a real pleasure to watch you hearing these songs through for the first time. It gives me a new appreciation for them!
Stewart Copeland on the drums!
I do appreciate you bringing the music and the reactions! Keep them coming when you can!
"Driven to tears / into "when the world is running down" is a great back to back in one flow listen.
This band was my son's very first concert, in July 2008, on their farewell tour. My son was 12 and loved The Police, and at 23, he still does.
For those who might know, the bass line is in lydian mode. Sting's genius on display.
But the synthesizer pattern sounds to me like a Mannheim Steamroller pattern
I just cannot get enough of my man's reaction to this song and video. I've been rewatching this every day for 2 weeks now. Love it!
Stewart Copeland on drums, both Stewart and Sting admitted that they had massive fights whilst the band was going, but they are still best friends
WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FINGER by them is so gorgeous, if you want to give it a listen. Sting is such a great, metaphorical writer... very smart man.
I can relate, about feeling that you just don't connect with today's music like you do with music of another generation. I think a lot of us feel that way!
Please react to "Invisible Sun" and "Walking on the Moon" next by the Police for that great Reggae vibe that they do so well.
Sting also has a great solo career, check out "Shape of My Heart" and "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free".
Spirits in the material world 🌎!!!
there IS be a Rick Beato ‘what makes this song great’ on UA-cam. I remember being impressed. (EPISODE 2)
Favorite feel good song. The cymbals at the beginning make me smile before anything else starts....this is my favorite band. These guys were great musically and lyrically...love them!
