- Our final instalment of the PinkNews Pride at Work webinar series, kindly sponsored by Lloyds Banking Group, focuses on race, gender and sexuality.
LGBTQ+ people from different ethnic backgrounds not only experience racism and homophobia/ transphobia/ biphobia etc... in everyday life - in the workplace, socialising, on dating apps to name a few instances - but also poorer health outcomes and rates of employment and salary as well as lack of representation, including within the LGBTQ+ community.
In the workplace, outdated views, stereotypes and biases around accents, characteristics and cultures play a major role in barriers around progression and promotion, lack of diverse leadership and role models and psychological safety.
Understanding how the intersections of race, gender and sexuality impacts someone’s lived experience is key in ensuring that employees can bring their authentic selves into their professional roles.
Organisations need to create safe, inclusive spaces where queer people of colour can thrive with pride in who they are, what they deliver and what they can achieve.

Why is sexuality important for jobs or work? Shouldn't performance be what we care about and not what people do in their bedrooms
You'd think so! But these aren't bothered aslong as everything goes there way, even if it affects the rights of others, it's them who should come first, or minorities as it's called, but we all have vulnerabilities, ive seen so many young men take their lifes! But these dont care if its not affecting their agenda, These just like to virtual signal to self serve, like the rest of these organisations do, but as a woman, I've probably gone through more than this 🤡 ever will, like i have a mixed race son, who's never had any race issues, irs getting ridiculous how far they take it.

Yes, I do agree when you d*** more people that are different transgender all of color people that are transgender gay straight by disabled anyone to be more accepted to they are and different and accepted and loved even if you're a different or a transgender or gay or buy. I'm bisexual more people that have dog different. I'm the disabilities and they need to be more accepted so I do agree with you guys 100% love. You guys We all need to be accepted, and we all need to be inclusive as well. And be special because I'm a click train Denver. And I'm actually disabled, and I've been through a lot. And we need to be inclusive of everything who we are, what we are. And I'm disabled under a gender and when I go to places. Please. That are not being accepted to be honored. We're all different for a reason, and we need to come together and accept that.
