I was thinking the same thing. Your comment is 6 months old, how is it now? I’m about 30 miles in now. Wondering how realistic it is to expect to get half as good as Jeff and his friends. How many miles in did it feel more natural for you?
@@K-Town_OW It's all down to the miles you put in, I feel alot more confident when I ride now I wouldn't say im anyware near as natural/talented rider as Jeff, but im not riding everyday its 2/3 times a week of street ride curb hopping (which before was impossible) and park/trails that I've been in love with for mental reasons being in nature etc while getting the adrenaline boost. Stick with it!
Great video Julian and Jeff! I’m glad to see Jeff getting away for sec to share this epic ride with us. If you need anything for the baby please let us know. Much love from the Volper Fam!
@@daltondearman9548 I too believe he’s one of the best riders. What I meant is he’s not doing the big drops, gaps etc. that some of the younger guys (with young guy knees) are doing.
Earlier this summer I traded my XR in for a GT. I loved the extra power but missed the feel of the XR. After about 1200km I swapped out tire and tails for an Enduro and WTF Low Riders. Completely different board now I’m completely in love again! Hope I feel the same way when my ADV Pro gets here lol
Halfway through the video Jeff mentioned new shoes, and prior to that moment I was like "Damn, these look good, gotta find out what brand they are." I used to ride in my everyday sneakers on my Pint X, but was sometimes experiencing mount of shame, sensors blinking not reading the pressure correctly and sometimes dismounting during turns. I switched to my biking Five Tens, which helped solve the sensor issues, but ever since I am looking for a possible skater alternative and maybe I've just fell in love 😊
You got a problem with Canadian geese and you've gotta problem with me, now I suggest you let that one marinate😂 for real, yall are the reason that I'm excited to get a one wheel. My GT is coming in the mail today, I'm stoked
Freaking 28.7mph?!?! The heck with it. Jeff, you got to do a vid on how to safely push those high numbers. Also, a video of the new GT flight fins. Mine should be here next week!!!
You definitely have skills however, how are you not overloading the board with the amount of forward pressure you're applying? What is your height and weight? I'm 6 foot 210 lbs, pushing my gt that hard makes me a little nervous. Any tips would be appreciated.
Don't ask for too much all at once from the board, this in rush voltage is where electrical components are most subject to failure. Use and utilize momentum wherever possiblle. Wear gloves minimum too.. laughable bails can be bloody hands that suck for weeks without ;)
I want to see you try something. When you done the 3 nose grabs down strait way.Do that, time it to when your at the chain your at your peak nose high attitude. Then as soon as your wheel is about to touch chain just let go nose.I done that in my mind it will work.

I would too, but i definitely wouldn't be able to keep up or do even a quarter of tricks they do. They make everything they do with the onewheel look so damn easy. I can't even curb nudge a 4 inch curb. I've tried and tried and just gave up instead.

Nice ride and Jeff congratulations for the baby and the horses you definitely need more time to ride that GT as easy as the XR 🤙🏼 I'm still waiting for a Kush rear pad for the GT just saying ☺️
Jeff called it, with the breaking of the board. Funny, while not funny. Hope it's just the cable. Two more things, congrats on the kiddo, dad time is second only to granddad time. Lastly, when chasing geese, it is not mud, it's never mud, even when it's muddy, there's not just mud there, which is why I ride with a fender.
