Hyoma is the LEAST horrible out of the bunch, and that's saying a lot. I mean, he still sucks but at least the guy seems to be trying - or having his internal laughs with all this crap.

Like, there's potential there. The rest usually just range from 'my mom' to random hobo level. And a comatose person. Except I wouldn't go as far as saying he's the only remotely convincing one, but that depends on what convincing means to you. He's clearly the best of the lot, but I also think Hayatemaru is okay. And Rin and Shizuku aren't actively _bad_ either when they're emoting the right way (there was no voice direction whatsoever, so I can forgive at least some of that considering these people were total amateurs, too). Shizuku in particular has a bit of that Bulma energy to her character that her VA does bring across somewhat convincingly. Hiro is competent but just very flat most of the time. Then again, so is her character to some degree. So a good part of the main cast really aren't as terrible as the game's reputation suggests. It's really Karen, Uru and all these fucking side characters (save for Okita) that make the whole thing so damn hilarious.

I'm not fond of the original voice acting on this game either, but ANYTHING is better than listening to this. Ugh, now I'm reminded of the dark days of my life...
