I am 51 years of age and much like my late mother and 93 year old grandmother I have been using Pond's cold cream for many years it's very cheap yet luxurious for the skin and trust me I have no wrinkles at my age and it takes off makeup amazingly! Anyway I subscribed and I feel your page is amazing❤
I have great luck with lots of your drugstore options. I'm still using the Vanicream Vitamin C you recommended. Ignore all the Negative Nancy comments. You do a great job!
I really appreciate your advice and have actually taken some of it!😊. What I would really like to know is about eye lids. I have droopy and crinkly lids. What can I use which will help lift and smooth. A video on this would be greatly appreciated as I know I’m not the only one with this problem. Thanks for all the great work you do.❤
Can you do a segment on at home facials/body facials? Like what products to use if differs from your daily routine. And one about facial mask (sheets).
The Mae Love vitamin C is phenomenal it’s the only skin care of all that I’ve used that when I wear it people notice and comment how great my skin looks. Every time. Even at the med spa.
Way back when I first started getting serious about skincare I used MD Forte because they had step-up products too. I had to stop at level 3 though because it was the highest level and it was too strong for my skin. I wish there were other, more affordable brands that do that. I would try the one you recommend but my medical bills have to take priority for the next several months. Thanks for sharing!!
Like one video focusing on vitamin c from tj max/Marshall's, and another video focusing on their retinol, and another video focusing on their collagen options and etc! Pretty please! 💙
Love Avene and Maelove based on your recommendations. I'm also very happy with your L'Oreal glycolic acid cleanser in the mornings. I did splurge on Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial for nighttime moisturizer and it is heavenly!!
I have been using my 0.05% tretinoin under my eyes and it seems fine. To make sure it doesn't get into my eyes I take a cotton swab tip with a little vaseline on it and swipe just under the bottom lashes making sure I go up to sides also.
Will you do a video about tj max, Marshall's, etc skincare mainly focusing on their vitamin c options and what to get that will actually be effective. I love learning from you and I really think if you did a video about that would help me and a lot of other people too.
Due to ur recommendation I use the Medik8 3 retinal eye cream $85 I have purchased the 6 strength $109 to use once I’ve finished the 3 strength. I use LRP double repair $59, Timeless C 10% serum 1 oz 30ml $32 these are prices in Australia
hi, thanks for your video. really help me for my night time routine. could you do one for your morning routine please. so I can get ready to start my face routine. 😊
Naturium makes a 0.05 and a 0.10 retinaldehyde serum that is less expensive than Avene, about $30.00 I believe. I’m using the Beauty of Jason retinaldehyde eye cream which which is drugstore price
I got to start just watching your videos and stop looking at others. I have just spent $78 on a Murad skin pigmentation serum and I'm already worried that it probably won't work and I could have got something cheaper..
Can you please tell me if this is ok for the morning Paula’s choice weightless advanced toner Timeless vit c serum Naturium Arbutin Naturium Tranexamic acid LRP double repair Eye cream Sunscreen Thank you
Quick question, I have dry skin and use the hydrating cerave Cleanser, and la roch us moisturizer in the morning and Cerave night renewal cream. Is there anything worth splurging on for my wedding in November? I was thinking an over night cream? Any suggestions?
I used the Cerave hydrating cleanser but wasn't impressed. Didn't remove sunscreen as good as other cleansers, and strangely, I found it to be somewhat drying. I like the LaRoche Posay hydrating cleanser--it cleans better and is more hydrating at the same time.
You are the only UA-cam dermatologist that is increasing your budget products. You also never talk about skin cancer with the summer. All the other and even the dreaded Dr Dray is talking about skin cancer. People are dying. I am a 2 time melanoma survivor. Dr Daniel Sugai and Dr Ellis have made several videos.
In your case, since you already are watching several derms talking about this, you kinda should be an expert on the subject. At 51, I already know about it, and what to do. I’m not hear for that crap and seriously, how many videos do you actually need shoved down your throat that you need sunscreen, two fingers worth, a hat and protective clothing??? I literally summed it up for you…. Stop being a negative ass.

Me too!

Yes Marion you do an excellent job keeping us informed! You’re beautiful inside and out! 💐
Great video, Doc. At 60, keeping on a routine as you nicely point out, is very important and these products don't break the bank.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for today. Thanks for breaking it down and your honest opinions.
I have dry skin and forehead wrinkles. What moisturizer would you recommend for aging skin?
I use the Boots No 7 eye cream.. amazing products from an English company founded over 100 years ago
The Mae Love vitamin C is phenomenal it’s the only skin care of all that I’ve used that when I wear it people notice and comment how great my skin looks. Every time. Even at the med spa.
Thank you for all of your information. I am almost 60 and through your recommendations have started using Avene products. Especially the retinal.
✨Loving the new REMEDY fade combo…my new holy grail‼️

Have you done a video about hyperpigmentation? that's my main issue
Thank you. I wonder how Medik8 eye compares to Avene? Thank you!
Dr. Locke, what about OTC adapalene for anti-aging? It is drug store priced, and wouldn't it be stronger than retinaldehyde?
Would you consider reviewing Geek & Gorgeous products? I am liking what I have used so far from them.
Can you recommend affordable moisturizing makeup removal ( especially eye ) What about Abilene? And what about puffy eye treatments?
Like one video focusing on vitamin c from tj max/Marshall's, and another video focusing on their retinol, and another video focusing on their collagen options and etc! Pretty please! 💙
Your videos are so so helpful in finding the best products at all price points. I really appreciate your work!
Love Avene and Maelove based on your recommendations. I'm also very happy with your L'Oreal glycolic acid cleanser in the mornings. I did splurge on Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial for nighttime moisturizer and it is heavenly!!
But I think I'll go cheaper on moisturizer next time!
Love all this information! Can you a video on how to take care of milia on the upper lip please? Resulting from lip waxing.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. L.
Would love a video similar to this for skin care devices like the Ziip, Omnilux or Halo, which one is worth the splurge? Great video, thank you!

Thanks for all your information and taking the time to share your tips.❤
What do you think of the neutrogena retinol eye cream?
Will you do a video about tj max, Marshall's, etc skincare mainly focusing on their vitamin c options and what to get that will actually be effective. I love learning from you and I really think if you did a video about that would help me and a lot of other people too.

I love the Oat Balm Cleanser! It does an amazing job!
I’ll have to try cleansing balms. I’m spending 70 on naturopathica manuka honey because it doesn’t dry out my skin.
I hope you do one for morning routine!
I love watching your videos.
So you don't suggest using toner? I have dry acne prone skin at 53 what ingredients should I avoid?
hi, thanks for your video. really help me for my night time routine. could you do one for your morning routine please. so I can get ready to start my face routine. 😊

Vitamin C at night? Thought it was for day?
Either, or both…just depends on your other products and skin goals
Excellent video … 🇨🇦 hopefully available
Why all oil or balm cleansers give me wired bumps
Love that you share your knowledge. I am confused about Bakuchiol & Retinaldehyde. Do you use both at the same time? Or do you choose between the 2?
Bakuchiol is an alternative to retinols/tretinon/retinaldehyde. It can be less irritating than retinoids mentioned above.
You’re so Amazing. You must be reading my mind, how do you do that?? Thanks so much!!!
My problem is the term, "drug store". Some of these products can only be purchased at Sephora, Ultra. CVS, Walgreens, and so on are drug stores.
It's just another term for affordable
Weird & misleading. Say what you mean & mean what you say.
If you watch the entire video, she explains exactly why she calls it this…
I use Vit C in the morning.... Is there a reason it should be used at night?
I got to start just watching your videos and stop looking at others. I have just spent $78 on a Murad skin pigmentation serum and I'm already worried that it probably won't work and I could have got something cheaper..
What cleansing cloths do you use??
Do you have an eye cream recommendation that does not contain phenoxyethanol? I’m allergic to that preservative.
Hi. Do you use the three ships if not using tretonin? What is the best tretonin in your opinion? I’m fine to pay $$ for this Thanks as always
Can you please tell me if this is ok for the morning
Paula’s choice weightless advanced toner
Timeless vit c serum
Naturium Arbutin
Naturium Tranexamic acid
LRP double repair
Eye cream
Sunscreen
Thank you
Can I use the L’Oréal Resurfacing glycolic acid cleanser every day? It’s supposed to prep for vitC serums
I use it everyday…. and it’s just fine. No issues!
Do you use vitamin C serum night and day? If you do at night, do you use it with retinoid.
1. Yes I do. 2. Yes and I use the retinol three times a week.
Why chose Medik8 over Tretinoin? I'd like to know...
Possibly cause you shouldn't put tretinoin on delicate eye area and the medik8 she used is a specific eye cream with retinal
Thank you so much for introducing UK product. Coz I’m living in UK and very expensive to get USA products 😅
Anyone else get red bumps from cetaphil? I tried using it and it seemed to irritate my skin, so I splurged on what I was using before... Any tips?
I don't sped more than 15 dollars on retinol 2% + vit c serum... from Dm in europe.
I'd say no...however, switched to Brandefy and it's a fraction of 5he cost of needless serum!
Great info but please slow down the hand gestures
Naturium: Would you try, review?

@@thealterego4684 I'll give that one a try. I like the la roche products
Your videos are amazing . I'm in my early 30s kindly suggest me anti aging under eye cream from drugstore or any medicated cream
Hi Dr. Maren, I sent an email regarding a partnership. If you haven't checked it, please also look in your spam folder. Waiting for your response!

@cayladeanne I can't stand her voice. Not her fault but I just can't listen to her.
In your case, since you already are watching several derms talking about this, you kinda should be an expert on the subject. At 51, I already know about it, and what to do. I don't find her videos to be what I consider budgety
Cetaphil isn't "budget?"
the extreme hand movements are distracting
Clearly you're not italian 🤌
She has a very dramatic style of presenting but I've gotten used to it.
Lol. I’m the same way, I am very expressive with my hands too. 😂. It helps me talk people. Ha!
Quit nitpicking
Is that all you get from this video
Great tips but the hand flailing is DISTRACTING!
THANK YOU BELLA
