- The Switzer P800 kit turns the GT-R in to a 800 HP monster. With a few PSi more boost the 840 HP is no problem. They have 98 and 100 octaan fuels. The AMS sportcats are much bigger and give good power, also with sportcat!

Man! It is not a really expensive car you probably afford it. It is not a new gen. Ferrari or Lamborghini...
The good stuff of this japanese monster there are tons of line to make it more powerful. It is cheap to get 800-900 hp. Some stuff has to be replaced on the engine, new gear ratio and also an ecu. For about 10k in my country you get 1000-1100hp.

I love that sound.
Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, BMW, Audi and the list goes on. (Couldn't be bothered to mention any others that the GTR could murder.)

@wh264 That happens when unburnt fuel fumes go through the exhaust and ignite because of the heat of the exhaust. It usually only happens when you suddenly let off the throttle, while at high rpm. Like when you want to brake or change gear.

What do you mean with launch? When you start fast after a stop? In this case it isn't better, beacuse with 4x4 the car will slide without control (sry I'm italian)

@mojojodon The front and rear of the vehicle are 'tied' down via a winch. Both of the large rollers the tires sit on spin freely as moved by the drive terrain. That's what stops the vehicle from going anywhere!

Yeah, it's overrated but the amount of work that goes into these cars when manufactured is amazing. Each engine is handbuilt. I just can't like it because of the stupid kids who don't know ANYTHING about it.

I was waiting at a set of lights in my 106 when this pulled up. I stayed next to me for about 25 metres then took off. And all I could do was die inside.
There is no Skyline R-35. That is a Nissan GT-R R35,the Skyline was the R-32,R-33 and R-34.

@DCT300 You can clearly hear it change gears when it's on the street, so I believe the answer to that question is that yes it has gears =)
I'd say most likely 6, I don't see why they would install paddle shifts on something if they weren't to be used, would be more annoying in my opinion.

@Naelate you call this car pathetic because it's automatic? Dude this car has one of the most advanced transaxles aqround. not transmission first of all. Plus it's computer can shift more correctly and quicker than humans ever could. So excuse all the people who would rather have a nice, smooth, efficient, powerful ride versus a lurchy inconsistent and inefficient super car.

I re did all the pipes, re chipped etc one of my mercedes Kompressors C230 along with the straight pipe. As long as the windows are UP you wont get the smell, but as soon as you crack the windows or sun/moon roof you smell it instantly, very annoying but extremely loud and aggressive
As much as i like conventional sticks i will take paddle shifters with LAUNCH CONTROL any day.
Belts only? No chains on this car ? heheh brave man, you must have a good insurance...
