Switzer Nissan R35 GTR R850 Prototype Dyno Test

Although the P800 package that we developed for the Nissan R35 GTR has made terrific power on pump gas, we had purposely kept the torque limited on the package for road race use and driveline longevity. Recently we had a client ask us to prepare their 2010 GTR and they asked us if we would be willing to see what our P800 package hardware would be able to achieve on a race gas calibration. Here are the results from the dyno tests.

Did anyone actually listen to the engine or look at the graph at the end? The peak of the power band is quite long actually. Also that sound is insane.

what are the enhancements to the gearbox? but it is a great tune, even I saw the P800 really great!

They could've made the GTR alot better, Imagine that car with a 2JZ Supra engine in it. the power possibilities would be endless. The GTR gearbox couldn't cope with that power either though. Pitty really, you would've thought that with 17 years advancement in engine and drivetrain technology they could surpass the 2JZ.... it seems not though.

LOL where did you here that? Plenty have made more then that (like this car) and the problems got nothing to do with electrics, its just the strength of the gears themselves and that they overheat which there are already aftermarket fixes for both.

Quick car for the poor. Hopefully it will not make too many miles without breaking down. Want to get 700+ bhp + extreme accelerations - get yourself SSC Ultimate Aero TT or Bugatti Veyron.

why this is called the R850 if it only produce 740hp in race gas.... 600hp with pump gas.. that can be smoke by mine`s or HKS here in japan with little modes....

How can't you understand that you will not make a car for 75000 USD as good as one being priced at 750000 USD. Either save more money, or be happy with stock GT-R.

the transmission wont allow more than 750 ish give or take to go through it, until who ever figures out the electronics of that

Stock GT-R - absolutely, but this hyper tuned version - not even close. Gonna brake down completely after 10000-15000 miles.
