The funniest thing my dad ever did was this one time when he cut down a tall pine tree in our backyard because it kept shedding pine needles into our above ground pool. He would always bitch about how he had to clean the needles out of the pool. He cut the tree and it fell the wrong way and smashed into our pool. He was cussing and so pissed afterwards and I was in house laughing so hard I was crying without any sound coming out. I still laugh my ass off when I think of that.
Now that my dad is retired, he mows the grass like 3-4 times a week. When he isn't mowing, he is watching TV with one eye and keeping his other eye on the grass through the window, in case it grows some.
This reminds me of my dad to extreme ends ''Kiddo we need to get you to start mowing the lawn'' ''Well sure thing dad, just say when'' He never said when, he just kept mowing the lawn and complaining about me not mowing the lawn, same thing with shoveling snow. I think he enjoyed doing those things and whenever he told me that I needed to be doing them he just wanted to seem like a responsible parent to my mum.
