Halloween Day, 1991. I was in 4th grade. I remember it well. During the 10am 15 minute recess, it started snowing. Lunch recess, there was maybe an inch or two on the ground but HUGE snowflakes. Then by the time we got out of school??? At least 8-10" on the ground and still snowing. It snowed until the next day around lunch. In New Richmond, WI, we had like 42" total snow at that point. Probably one of the best winter memories of my childhood. Thanks for the reminder!!!

Omg this was my late husband to a tee!
only difference is he would send us out the grocery store then somehow his back was going out( this was pre snowblower days) and volunteer us to "help" him then he would whine how much he was in pain
Once we got that snow blower though he was Superman!
