- In this video, I will show you show to transfer files, photos or videos from just about any Samsung galaxy smartphone (such as S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, Fold 5, Fold 4, etc) to a Windows Laptop or PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
This method is FREE, FAST and WIRELESS. The method is known as Quick Share.
This could be a laptop made by Samsung or any other brand, doesn't matter.

There used to be Quick Share and Nearby Share. I was always unsure which one to use and which one was "better". Now both together.
Amazing, I tryed also sharing from Windows to my phone and it worked perfectly, now I dont need to plug in the cable to transfer my musics, I can share them like this way, thank you man for assisting us

Thanks for sharing this information. This worked for me using my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra cell phone and my Dell XPS 8960 desktop with Windows 11 Pro. I didn't need to download the Samsung Account app. I just logged into my Samsung Cloud account via Firefox. I am not sure what that did. I then downloaded and installed the Samsung Quick Share app from the Microsoft store. After I turned on Bluetooth my hearing aids connected and I was not able to transfer files. However, after I disconnected my hearing aids transfer was not a problem. I have Bluetooth 5.3 on my desktop computer, and it is supposed to supported two connections at the same time. Perhaps I have a second device connected via Bluetooth, but I could not see a second connection. As has been mentioned, it is possible to skip clicking on the Quick Share button and just click on the button for the destination computer. It is true that transfer via USB cable is faster and more efficient when many files need to be transferred; however, transferring one or several files wirelessly with Quick Share is fast and efficient, and can be done even when the destination computer is off, according to the Quick Share app. Art

I've tried it on two brand new computers, but Windows says my computers are not compatible.
Same problem... says quickshare is not compatible with windows version after download although all drivers and windows updates are totally up to date....
Any help on this matter would be appreciated

Its not the brand, the only component that it matter is the network card, must be Intel, it doesnt work on mediatek which is the most common network card on PCs. I have an asus g14 that came with a mediatek, I just took it off and put and intel AX200 and it works perfect now
@@sayanmukherjee1630 It works now for me. I use Quick share on my tablet(phone) and Google Quick Share on my PC. Perfect and fast.
What other apps are all part of the samsung app suite on galaxy book? Would be great to know to integrate the ecosystem. Please link in description or a separate video on this.
You don't have to tap on quick share. You can tap on the device you want to share on the row right above the quick share icon.

Doesn't work for me. I installed Quick Share and Samsung Account as you described, but as soon as I opened Quick Share I got a message saying "Quick Share isn't compatible with this computer".??? Trying to Quick Share a photo from the phone to the computer and the phone doesn't even see the computer, although they're both paired in Bluetooth. My Windows 10 build is higher than the number you recommended, WiFi and Bluetooth are both on. Phone and computer connected to the same network. Was there something else I needed to do?
Both your network and bluetooth cards have to be from intel to work

For some reason, this does not work with my laptop. Something about Intel devices are only compatible. Mine is Asus G14 which has AMD. Anyway, I researched it and found that SAMSUNG FLOW works and I tried that and it worked fine. You basically install it on both devices, computer and samsung phone/tablet.

This isMichael. I'm not sure why we even need this. I suppose it depends on the files. It's much simpler and faster to Simply connect your phone to the computer via USB cable and search the directory such as DCIM for photos and then copy them to the PC in whatever folder you want/make for them. Piece of cake. Why do we need all this rigmarole and making accounts?
For wireless transfer.
For my old S21U, the USB no longer connects, so I'm forced to use wireless. And none of this wireless transfer works when you're trying to transfer thousands of photos. Extremely frustrating and time wasting...
Upgraded to One UI 6.0 and lowkey regretting it because I cannot find the face effects in the gallery editor like before. I can't find change portrait or face effects anywhere for videos that it would show up for in previous One UI versions.

@@sakitech Hi I came from iphone and someone stole my s23 , I was recording voice, but I notice that you can delete the record on lock screen even without unlock it the phone not like iPhone, that was dramatic for me , is it some fix for that? I am surprise that Samsung do that , that’s poor for the security of the device.😢😢😢

This isn't working at all for me. Trying to send some photos from my S24U to my Windows 11 pc, done everything as you have in the video but when i try to transfer the photos the bottom right box just says " preparing" for like a minute or 2, then just fails. Anyone else have this problem?
It will be extreamly helpful, if you come up with a video like this just the laptop is a macbook. How to tranfer files between android and mac wirelessly.
That requires cable or a cloud service like Google drive.

how did you get the quick share folder to the home screen on windows 11
Create new folder, and then from quick share settings select it to be the receiving folder.

Nope can't do it. I've an Acer Nitro and Samsung phones work particularly well with Microsoft. Infact I use OneDrive and all my devices are synced and I use Windows Link for instance, I can even make calls from the laptop BUT Quickshare keeps telling me to update drivers and Windows keeps saying they'e fine lol
OK so i have an update.....works fine with my Acer chromebook but then again it's all googley stuff....didn't even have to install a thing.....wham it went through. BUT a gaming laptop is a no no.....:/

Just reverse the process. Use quick share on laptop to send back to phone.

This is not part of the subject at hand; I understand why the Galaxy 6 Smart Watch has a different processing chip. The Galaxy 5 would have better battery usage if Samsung tweaked their health applications. ( Turned them off ) These applications are nothing more then psychological needs. Lol, the smart fall detection went off while sleeping and started dialing 911. Turned that off too.
FYI...the wireless adapter should be intel build...realtek adapters donot work

i'd rather do a PHD insteading of figuring out something as simple as how to transfer photos from a shitdroid to my PC.
Quick Share app from the MS Store installed on my HP Desktop running Windows 11 will not work and gives me a Quick Share isn't compatible with this computer error and closes the app. So not all computers can run this app. Need to do another work around.
