Thanks for sharing. As a rule of thumb rinse the rice 2 or 3 times (until rice water is almost clear) use 1 cup of water to 1½ cups of water; add a pinch of salt and a few drops of cooking oil. Half way through cooking stir the rice. Cooking rice takes about 20 minutes.
I just ordered one because it`s very useful for using during power outages or cooking free using my portable solar batteries. I have 12v rice cookers but they only cook one cup of dry rice and take over 40 minutes. I plan to wire them directly to solar panels and use this for its very low wattage and won`t trip my camper breakers like a hotplate when I`m running a heater or AC. This should be great for lentils, grits, oatmeal and garden vegetables as well.

Aroma is very generous in their specs. 1.5c uncook/3c cooked, from my research, is the maximum WITHOUT the cooker making a mess.
I wouldn't cook that much. The water bubbles up pretty well during boiling so there will be spillage.
