Hey there Kev! I’ve been going through your channel watching videos that I have missed here and there. I don’t know if this one had an add in the middle of it originally but it does now and the original audio of the video is offset by the length of the add. I restarted the video twice to be sure it wasn’t my dookie iPhone. It’s a skill share add and the original video audio starts it off with “…oww I took a metal p34is to the forehead” just as the skill share logo pops up. I know it’s an old video but it may be an issue with other classic JYD videos. Just a heads up bud. This looks like a great one. Take care!!!

Yeah, the Ford Winsdor blocks are pretty good engines. About 4 years ago my dad and I bought a Ford Fairlane with a small block 289 in it that had been sitting since 1980 when the transmission went out and the family parked the car. Fuel filter, spark plug cables, distributor cap and cleaning the plugs was all we needed to run the car with a red jerry can straight to the carb. We didn't even have a key because the family had lost it, we hotwired it from the started solenoid, lol.

and Bret McKenzie, who knew?
You can't beat the sound of those old Ford's.
Hey Kevin I’m a huge fan of your UA-cam channel my great uncle has a bunch of old Ford pick up trucks that haven’t ran in years most of them are from the early 90s they’re probably going to head to the crusher one day but it would be kind of cool if you could help me get some of them running again and maybe you could take one home
Shoot me an email at junkyarddigs1@gmail.com
probably my favorite junkyard revival ive seen loved the crossover!!!
They brought it back to life! Thanks again Ike and Junkyard Digs!👍🏼👍🏼
i see more junkyard digs and ike collabs in the future.
That's a thing of beauty right there, boys. As a fellow southern by the grace of God type, I can appreciate that the woods of the Carolinas are probably not like others, lol. Born, raised, and still live on the Cumberland Plateau of Middle TN.
You should hear the starter on my car! It sounds like a six volt and it turns so slow, but it never fails to start
Best show on the tube Thank you 🙏 👍👍👍👍
She sounds mean and pissed. Get the ol’ gal plenty of coffee.
Nice beard, I got two cars pretty much that have been sitting for years. A 1965 Mustang and a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. I'm supposed to go to my aunt's house where my derelicts are stored, and I'm about to dust off my oldsmobile and my mustang, and do a proper diagnosis and maintenance so when I move back home, I can prep both of them for the road and drive them.
I have a 66 mustang dosent run but it is going to be mine and my dads project
Then it turns into one of those "I'll restore it someday" lawn ornaments
@@wildman510 maybe for you
ice wolf1239, why do you say "it's going to be"? Is there a reason you two can't work on it now? Because there might be in the future.
My dad had a 65 Poppy Red Fastback as his first car until he flipped her head over heels a few times. Have always had an affinity for these fastbacks, great find and thanks for bringing it back to life!
My favorite type of car!! And it's orange like General Lee!! \m/
That’s Poppy red
Fellas, this brings back the good ol days... Good video with great content... That old building is a goldmine👍
I’ve learned more about Ickes collection from your channel then his own 😂😂🔥
I think Ike is just happy to have another car nut like himself that knows what they're talking about to wrench with. :)
"I mean I also weigh 84 pounds" LMFAOO
Love to see some 289 action, boys! I’m a huge fan of both channels and just recently found out y’all collab fairly often 😂 I’m loving this video, especially because I just got my first car, and it’s a 1964 Ford Galaxie with the original 289 engine and it still runs smooth as butter! Well, at least for now, gotta install some hellishly confusing brake and fuel lines soon… Thanks for all the inspiration and info you provide in these videos, keep on keepin’ on! Cheers, guys! 🤙 :)
That dude reminds me of Steve Dulcich :D
that place is muscle car heaven. Even got alot of good old trucks...Thanks for the video. Even though I am watching it ten months later. Kerry
The amount of ad breaks on this video is borderline disgusting. Other than that... awesome job! Love the C&C guys!
People gotta make money some way dude
This is amazing to see , I bought a 64 1/2 Mustang 10 yrs ago and had also sat for 33 yes , it took some work but the 260 actually ran pretty good after getting it freed up
Who watch from romania like this comment 🇹🇩🇹🇩🇹🇩
Love junkyard digs ❤❤
I've been workin on a 289 in a 32 model b Ford pickup. Beautiful engine. Currently weldin a new exaust system and headers
I don't know what happened, but the audio for this entire episode is broken from the add onward.
Hey man the Mercedes that you pulled out before you pulled the Mustang out I have one similar to that that is gasoline and white if you're interested in it man come get it running and take it away
Great to see you all collaborating
That chevette needs to get movin
Bill Monery ....yep, to the crusher, like every other Garbage Motors produced vehicle....
@@branon6565 that was my first vehicle. Fond memories. If I wasn't so darn tall I would have kept it a lot longer. Bought it with 150k and sold it at 400k. It ran until just over 600k because it got totalled in an accident. Probably the most reliable and cheap to maintain vehicle I've ever had
Spent several Summer's riding a Honda Trail 70 around my Grandfather's marina property. Rad find.
Petition for carsandcameras to start a series where Ike try’s to revive all his cars.
Starting with that old hearse!
