- I kept seeing this everywhere on my Instagram and facebook. Its absolutely gorgeous but being a frugal person that I am, I could never fork over $150 USD for a pan. Until one day I received it as a gift from a Yappie Kitchen Fan. I tested it on every day food items to see how it performed. YES I can actually say this is worth the money!!! I have fallen in love with this pan. Its non-stick surface is superb. I love the fact that it has a fitted little steel strainer inside so you can steam your veggies. It has a perfect spot for your wooden spatula which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a small space where storage is an issue. Also for anyone looking for a high performance pan that conducts heat really well, this is really state of the art engineering. It looks like a piece of clay pottery. The perfect piece of cookware for a modern kitchen. It is truly an investment & statement piece.

I’m thinking about getting this pan for Christmas! Thank you for this great and concise review! I loved seeing the different items that can be cooked in it. As a single person in a small apartment, I think this will be a great buy! Thank you!
You’re welcome! I am pretty happy with it. The little steamer tray is helpful. The clean up is easy too.
Thanks for showing a variety of foods that can be done with the pan, esp the steak!
Thank you for being here!
I just received mine an I absolutely love this pan . It’s incredible. The colors are impeccable. I want the whole collection
are u still enjoying it
@@dalal5818 yes I am getting ready to buy another one
Let’s go ~
Let's goooo!!!! 🤣 You're adorable
Let’s go !!!! Where is my plate ? Let’s eat !
that pan is so pretty and looks like it performs so well! I've been looking for a good non-stick pan but I'm always too scared to buy one that's too expensive in case it's not worth the money 😅
It’s pretty good. I like it so far. It’s expensive but hopefully it will last many years.
Informative la oh btw that noodle dish looked delish
Thank you for being here.
Your awesome @a yappie's kitchen
I have one. I really like it.
Yes its great.
This is my #1 pan. I use it every day. I got mine as a gift so I didn't have to pay for it. There are only two of us so its size is perfect.
It cleans up so easily that it's not worth taking up room in the dishwasher. Who knows what it will look like in a year of nearly daily use?
I love it but I understand why some would not.
Completely!!! For someone like me its really great, but if I had a big family and need something heavy duty. I do find that you have to put the effort to care for it. Mine has taken a beating already since I use it daily.... I might do a follow-up video of how it weathered long term.
Hey. Can you let me know how the pan is now a year later ?
any updates
@@dalal5818 I still like it and use it often. It's a bit duller and I find it helps to use a spray oil.
Others were not as careful as me so I have a couple of scratches., but I still like it.
lets goooooo
i would what a flour test would look like for it. its so light weight that i worry it doesnt have good heat distribution
OMG! That noodle dish with shrimp looks delicious! Do you have a recipe?!
Yes the link is below. The sauce recipe is in the description. In this video I just kept it simple but I made a version with more ingredients in the video below. It’s actually one of my family’s favourite.

You’re so cute 😂😂 let’s gooo
I would love to hear about how the pot has weathered through cooking. It seems like it stains a lot on the outside.
Yes, I have to be honest...mine has taken a beating. Its really great and functional but you have to make the effort to take care of it.
@@YappieKitchen i think that’s the main problem most people have with the Always Pan is that it’s so expensive but the quality doesn’t seem to last longer than a few months :/ especially the condition.
This lady’s hilarious
Metal tongs! A definite no-no for a non-stick pan. Why did you use that when you had another with plastic tips?
I wonder who it will hold up in time
Hi Marie! I will do a follow up video closer to Christmas.
can you use always pan on regular stovetop?
What do you mean by a regular stove? Like a gas stove? Or the ones with the coil? I believe it’s ok for both. Haven’t tried it out myself. It may scratch the bottom but I don’t think there will be issues for the actual pan surface.
Got this on sale and can’t wait to try this soon...
_cynyc_ u got this on sale? Apparently it’s very hard to even get your hands on one. Good for u girl!!
@@YappieKitchen yeah they are having a Black Friday sale using the code that is provided on the website and I got mine in lavender limited edition. 🥰
You’ll love it!
I got it on sale as well in charcoal. It will be shipped in late January. I can't wait to try it!
@@peonylove
May I ask how much?
Girl sshoot. Stop using the metal utensils in there. (much love)
Haha yeah I guess I forgot
Is the pan heavy ?
Anita Ko no it’s light. About 3lbs
What color is it ? Sage?
Yes it’s sage!
@@YappieKitchen thank you
Anyone know how many times she said "let's go?"
It was a TIK TOK thing a year ago.
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the box it ships in?
Lauren Clark are you trying to ship this to someone? Let me check my basement if I still have it.
@@YappieKitchen thank you so much! My mom is flying up for Christmas and I want to make sure she has enough room in her suitcase to fly home with it.
My husband threw away the box, but I can confirm that the box will not fit in a standard size suitcase. It’s better to wrap it it bubble wrap.
@@YappieKitchen thank you so much for your help!
It's good pan, but it doesn't stand out compared to many cheaper pans.
This pan recently tested to actually have lead in it despite the website saying it was lead free. Kind of sketchy (google the post from Lead Safe Mama)
What happened to the eggs?
Mega E they turned out fine. As expected. U still need a bit of oil. I tried it again off camera without oil and it did stick a little. But overall it’s still really good. Most foods literally glide off of it.
Another downside is it's not oven safe :(
MRS BS that’s true. I forgot to mention that. Maybe I will do a second review. Thanks for being here.
Well I don’t care about that it cooks excellent on top of stove
The problem with ANY non-stick coated pan: they have a limited life span, usually 2-3 years. If the teflon type are overheated, they release toxic fumes (birds can die from this invisible chemical onslaught). Then as careful as we are, wear and chips occur, making the pan very unsafe to use. So what do we do? Throw it out and buy another, and the cycle repeats. BUT think about all the old dangerous chemically coated pans that end up in landfills, or worse, our oceans. If you care about your health and the health of our dear Earth stick with stainless steel, cast iron, carbon steel or solid ceramic (not just coated). These will all provide many years of healthy cooking, and not end up as trash.
I am really trying to find easy and good pots and pans. Can you recommend some that are not TOO expensive ? I just need a large pasta pot. A regular sauce pot. And maybe 2-3 frying pans of diff sizes.
I don’t want a cast iron because it seems annoying to clean and store.
@@review_raider6866 I don't choose cast iron due to it's weight and my age. I'm 68 and want to find lighter cookware. I debated about carbon steel, lighter but it requires good seasoning (similar to cast iron to get that great non-stick quality). I've never had success with seasoning cast iron, although my ex-mother-in-law used it her entire life with great success. So I've chose stainless steel. It seems the trick with that is to heat to the proper temp before adding a little oil and then the food. There are lots of videos on successfully using stainless steel. I also saw that if things do burn and stick sprinkling with baking soda and water will take it off almost magically. A little education (as on any subject) can reap great rewards.
@@review_raider6866 The All-Clad comes very highly recommended. I found a Viking fry pan at TJ Maxx for $25. I suggest Googling, or watching UA-cam videos recommending the best budget stainless steel sets. It seems to me for longevity you want to choose a 3 or 5 clad pan vs the type with a second bottom plate welded on. From what I've read they can eventually fall off, and seem to me to collect "gunk" in the gap. I want something that I'll take good care of and that will last well after I die. In other words it's, coming to my next life with me, lol!
Why you add the accent like that 🤣🤣
It’s all in good fun. I grew up teasing my mom for her accent. I am 100% proud of my Asian culture and family.
Can't use in oven or on high heat... not worth the money at all.
oh! for real?
@2:25 not sure why you found it necessary to do a fake Chinese accent when cooking noodles but I didn’t think it was funny.
It was just a light hearted inside joke aimed at my family who watches my video. We don’t take ourselves too seriously.
Lame that you don’t mention it’s $145.
Your feedback wasn’t all that helpful.
And the “just a single person” comment wasn’t very nice.
I just got one for my birthday... all hype it's a freaking pan nothing special ... its attractive to those that don't know how to cook ... much rather have cast iron... it's not even been used I'll sell it cheap ....
You’re selling your birthday gift?! I could never sell something someone gave me with heart.
@@YappieKitchen no pan should be made of cast aluminum and the pan is to small. You can not use metal yet you set a metal basket in it for steaming. As a professional chef I can tell you this is a peice of garbage all advertising hype with paid reviews. If your warming up pot stickers from costco fine but if you know how to cook this thing is worthless.
I don’t think she said somebody got the pan for her birthday, maybe she bought it her self for her birthday
I Gave the pan to my sister and she raves about it .. I might be to picky ! So don't take my word I was taught to cook on cast iron
I’d be mad to be receiving this pan even as a gift. For that price you can get a quality pan. This is a scam at best, based in LA but made in China for that price? You can get cheaper option buying a French made pans like de buyer, matfer or even tramontina. For that price might as well buy the all clad.
People need to know, there’s no non stick pan that’ll last forever. If you want a pan that lasts forever go for carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron or even a copper pan. Not this garbage, know why it’s marketed with famous people? Because it’s a garbage product, that’s why they need famous people to trick naive and beginners to buy this garbage.
Stay clear of this garbage, most positive reviewers are either paid, sponsored and people who doesn’t cook. Paid and sponsored reviewer can’t say shit about this garbage eventhough they know it is a garbage. That simple.
