Chris Thiele may well be a good musician, but he is not capable as the host of PHC. Never was. His acquiesce in changing the program name to the nonsensical "Live from Here" - after being hand-picked by Keillor - tells me he is a substanceless dupe for the public radio PC, Inc, "industrial complex." I've tried to listen to the new show several times, but rarely make it more than 5-10 minutes before changing the channel to Rockin' John on WORT. The way Keillor was treated by MPR, NPR, WPR - indeed, all that public media, Inc syndicate - was unconscionable, and my decades of donations came to a close at that very moment.
Chris Thile's talent is not storytelling. He admits that is not his forte. The show has changed from a show of stories to one of primarily music, which is what Thile does best. I have seen Thile with the Punch Brothers live and he's a superb musician: he doesn't claim to be anything else.
Leave it to the woke Progressives...and their feelings. I don't have an issue with Mr. Keillor being Democrat, as I'm independent...it's the _censorship_ by _TAX FUNDED GOVERNMENT AGENTS: NPR. SHAME.
