I love how this video combined both history and construction! Really interesting to learn the history of the strawberry dress and to see it's ideas carried over in your strawberry dress too!
As someone who owns the strawberry dress, I think your dress became so sheer because of the tulle used. The tulle used in the strawberry dress is very compact. The holes are smaller which makes it so the tull becomes more opaque, especially when you layer it. Of course, I can't really tell from a video about how compact your tulle is, but I do think the tulle you used is less compact than the tulle used in the original dress.
But no matter that, the dress turned out really nice :)

I wasn’t expecting so much research to be honest, but the whole complicated history from the original seamstress and the turn the dress took was so interesting ! I’d definitely love to see more videos like these, i don’t have any specific ideas of subjects tho (except hoping that next project will allow you to do not need to do load of extra hours and to rest a bit !). Also I really liked the discussion of inspiration/copy you opened from this project, and related to that I was wondering if you would apply the same opinion for the bead embroidery techniques you showed on video (if it’s okay if ppl use the same combinations etc) ?

I love the one-two punch of history lesson and tutorial-slash-"i made the such and such article of clothing" video. This made it so enjoyable to watch because firstly, i love art history and learning about modern artists, but secondly, I feel like "I made the such and such article of clothing" videos are kinda overplayed and repetitive. This was a very refreshing take! Thank you!

I really love how educational this video is- the moment you mentioned that Lirika was the one who made the tights that I kept seeing on pinterest every now and then gave me this sense of unexpected satisfaction because I was never really able to find out the direct source. You answered a lot of my questions and I learnt so much information ^^
I'm not into Tiktok or trends, so the only reason I was even peripherally aware of the Strawberry Dress was because of a friend who is. That said, I loved the deep dive that didn't treat any of the dress's history as cringe. It's a beautiful story, but there are many iceberg meme users who would totally have treated fashion and OCs as a joke. Your respect and consideration for Lirika and mailleur_maker are obvious, and honestly made it so enjoyable for me to watch this video. I would love to see another one!

your specific combo of showing the construction of dresses in a way that is not-really-a-tutorial, but at the same time making specific deep-dives (like showing how you embroider the strawberries, or your sewing-techniques-overexplained segments) are so so good!!! i love learning about garment construction and your way of presenting it makes it so the infos are given in really easy-to-swallow pieces. that makes the videos really entertaining to me while i still get to learn something :D
