The recreation of Halloween '78 was unreal. Hope they continue with that level of commitment for any material set in that era that the TV show might do.

Great video. All I know is they BETTER use the flashback sequence mask from Kills.
Why? Lol. It wasn't nearly as close to the original as people act like it was. Look at them side by side😂. It was much cleaner and looked like Michael's younger brother. There are FAR better and more accurate replicas done by independent mask makers out there.

I'm excited for the Halloween TV Series I can't wait to see who they cast as Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. I wish James Jude Courtney could come back as Michael. He's great in the role and I want more of him as Michael.

The Halloween Returns concept is a good idea for this series, i hope it retains a lot of that plot. Change a few characters with Dr Loomis and Brackett in there instead of Dr Rodgers and Sheirff Hunt. Have Brackett's niece Alice as the main target as she's there with Brackett witnessing the execution of Michael and he's sees her.
It's set in 1978 but much of it is in flashbacks from 1963 when Loomis is assigned to Michael Myers. 🎃🔪
Having the 78 myers is much more scarier. Looking more into the story as a young boy, after when he killed his sister . In deleted scenes loomis went to see him at the sanitarium and spoke to him in his room. That was creepy . 🎃

Sounds great! 78 Tv series picking right up after the 78 original. Michael getting up and killing more people up until he gets caught with Hawkins. All the flashback scenes expanded upon Then we see him incarcerated then loomis trying to communicate with him . Get the Actors from the flash back scenes including Hawkins . Focus some episodes on that cop that knew Michael as a child.
If they want it to actually look like 78 Halloween, they need a much smaller guy
They should just make that Halloween return script come to life, they would just need to change a couple of things on it and I think it would be better than H2018. the script is intense especially the scene in prison where he breaks loose. New characters no sister attachment I really enjoyed the idea and they did not intend to ever show Michael's face which I got tired of everyone unmasking the shape. I Would love to see events that occurred in Smith's Grove when the shape was locked up and view some of that mystique but not too much just enough since I believe the Shape should always be kept a mystery on what made him kill his sister and others. In my opinion, he is just a predator and likes hunting nothing more than that.
I want the series to be a young Michael Myers but set after John Carpenter's Halloween as another retcon but much closer. For example, maybe have the first season be set in 1979 Michael gets captured soon after the events in the 1978 film he goes back to Smith's Grove but then jump to one year later in 1979 22 yr old Michael Myers escapes Smith's Grove again and goes back to Haddonfield again. Only this time Laurie Strode has already left Haddonfield to attend an out-of-state college and Michael targets a new group of teenagers to kill but have these teens be different from Laurie, Annie, and Lynda and have the events in Haddonfield 1979 be a different scenario from 1978. I wouldn't want the first season to be a copy and paste of the first film and with the build up to Halloween night in Haddonfield show how some people in town are dealing with the anniversary of that killing spree one year later.
That would be very interesting!
Switch it up & make Annie the Lead Girl or Focus on other people in the town.
Make it about Jamie being the new Michael or just let this shit go.
Sean Pertwee would kill as Loomis imo. He has a good voice for it.

I would like for Michael Myers to be free from money hungry people. For someone that cares about the Halloween flims. Someone who will show love. Michael is and always will be. The best slasher. Nick Castle. Will always be Michael Myers to me.

Do away with laurie AND loomis. Ive been a fan of the series since 1993 and although im not old enough to speak alongside many OG fans i firmly believe that there are better places for the shape than to rehash tired old formats and film tropes. Lets give the shape something interesting to do for once. Any story told with laurie is and was already told. Its a dead end and another unnecessary retcon ... Also she asks "whats the boogeyman?" Not "Was that the boogeyman.'

Absolutely needs to take place in 78 ,Film it with the panaglide camera so you have the look and most importantly the mask has to be the same look as the original. It's ok to create new characters also.

Airon Armstrong, and Tom Jones Jr. (IMO) are the only 2 that could play those parts...Only problem I can foresee is the cost of putting TJ Jr. in those prosthetics day in, day out...That kind of thing takes a lot of time, and cost a lot to do....As far as the mask?....Hell Yes!!!
Armstrong, yes. Tom Jones is not much of an actor. He isn't gonna be good if given much dialogue. He was hammy as it was. That will be terrible.

Show should start off with a droid ceremony, where we see michael is born and his mother is sacrificed by a cult, the MAN in Black, but Judith saves Michael who happens to be in the woods and runs from the cult, she runs into the police, they found a body but no cult members. The myers end up adopting Michael but notice strange occurances, we move up in the end of EP 1 where Michael then kills Judith, EP 2 will be about DR loomis and Michael relationship, end of that he escapes. Then re-inact sequences, but with something new. who knows. That would be my take. Jon Berthnal should play Brackett, Patrick Wilson as a new loomis, You basically have to reboot this thing to make it its own but with series references.
I think they could also gain a lot from using the same lighting effects as the first one. It made the stalking and jumpscare moments more immersive and suspenseful. That’s something the last trilogy fumbled. He needs to stalk and sabotage more..the audience shouldn’t always know what he’s doing or where he is at in my opinion.
IF they do a tv show, they by God better not do what they've done with the likes of Freddy's Nightmares or the failed Friday the 13th series where the main focus of the franchises barely makes an appearance at all. That will seriously piss me off

I think the best way to go about it is make another timeline in the series that picks up right after part one. That’s how you get the brief Laurie & Loomis cameo. This timeline should follow a Michael that got away, but wasn’t dumb enough to go home and end up with the kills flashback capture scene.
Yeah, that's what we need...Another timeline. And then in 2028 they can create yet another timeline for a new movie. Maybe Michael goes after Tommy's grandkids. And then in 2033 they can go back to '78 again. Maybe in 2038 they can do a 20th anniversary of the 40th anniversary film and have Laurie as a time traveler going back to 2018 to save her daughter. Then in 2048 they can do a 50th anniversary of H20 and bring back 70 year old Josh Hartnett and have him team up with the ghost of Laurie Strode. Fuck yeah!! Sounds amazing to have stuff never ever end no matter what, because 12 year olds can't handle it. Makes for meaningful, wonderful, well thought out stories. I love franchises😊
