I truly appreciate all of the effort that went into the editing of this. Lots of timeline cuts. I hope you're using keyboard shortcuts :) Great stand.
Haha; there's a good chance I don't know about all the shortcuts. Thanks!

Keyboard shortcuts or bust!

@@Neverstopbuilding and make one to mount to the right side to dip your work in for cooling.
Thank you for taking the time to record and edit such a wonderful video. Your skills as a woodworker, metalworker, cameraman and video editor are truly remarkable. Very enjoyable to watch and learn.
Thank you!
15:10 - mounting the main gun! Wow, that's a tank!
Great project and video (of course) and interesting idea on making a longer one to act as a detailed plan. Curious to see how that works out.
I bet it could support the weight of a tank.
I purchased 2 of your plans John and I'm looking forward to the planer build, will there be plans available. so much easier building from plans as I haven't quite mastered sketchup just yet.
Hi . please check your direct in instagram..i am saeed.i am gunsmith and need to your help for making grinder
I think Jeremy could MAKE a tank if he decided to.
I guess someone else was thinking "battleship Grey" as they watched these vids! John, it is fun seeing other UA-cam creators responding to these vids!
You are a seriously talented young man. Most people can’t cut a nice 45 degree joint w a miter saw and you knocked them out w an angle grinder. This project turned out awesome. Thanks for sharing !
You are hands down the best craftsman on UA-cam. And there are many great ones. But you beat them all BY FAR!
Diresta, Ferry, Bates, you beat them all.
Thank you.
I just wish you would post more often. But when you do, this is the stuff you put up. It's all well worth the wait.
Thank you again.
You're a hero!
Watch some thisoldtony.
They're his YT colleagues and I suggest "Clickspring" in the "close enough for the..." category.
I'll add by comparing to Just metal fabricators Like Ox tools, and Turn Wright One of the top 5 Metal Fabricators on UA-cam,
Your foresight of potential problems in the build is incredible. Well done, Schmidt!
I have never built anytjing in my life, but I came across your channel about a year ago and I believe I have watched all the videos now. I live in an apartment so power is out of the question, but I did order me a beginner's set of hand woodworking tools, wood glue, clamps and a couple other little things to start a small project. I have an idea in my head, wish me luck haha. Thank you, I truly appreciate the content.
Awesome! Good luck and have fun!
I must say that you always impress me young man being so young yet building things as if you have been building for decades. Yet another truly great video and I cant wait to watch the full length version. Willam
I was eyeing a grinder that rotates like that and after happening across your video here I not only became inspired but also became a Subscriber. My son (13) was really stoked about your family shop and all the tools. He said, “Oh man... THAT would be an awesome shop to have!” Ha! ‘From the mouths of babes’. Will definitely get to those other videos now. Great job!
I dig those modular drawers man, nice to see someone building things that last, that bench will be around for generations to come.
I hate it...
Only because I don't have it.
You definitely have skills Mr. Schmidt. Nice work.
Unreal. Incredible build, grinder, chamfers, drawers, video, and craftsmanship.
Extremely impressed by the high quality on everything you make.
For a young guy you do a fantastic job with your clips and it's good to see someone taking pride in their manufacturing- brilliant work Jeremy!
Thank you!
Jeremy you impress the hell out of me, love your work. My nephew who is a bit of a genius took your plans and we built one of the tilting grinders for my knife work. Wish I could post a picture for you, maybe I could send some pics via email for you to see how your invention inspired us. Thank you for the inspiration
I'd love to see it!
This guy is serious business. The best Craftsman I've ever seen.
Excellent work, the stand looks so good and it will work for years .....for next generations.
I think this video is all that is needed. Dimensions can be fleshed out for individual desires. I often just view a video or pic Ryan’s then go and make the item myself. Great job on your part.
Jeremy what an awesome job man! Soo well thought out and executed with perfection! You do such an amazing job at thinking through everything and hitting all the marks! I don't know if I will ever have the opportunity to build some of your projects, like this one, but can't get enough of your vids man! I will most definitely be waiting for the long form version and day dream about being the person to build it! Cannot wait to see what you will be making that includes using that awesome setup! NICE JOB JEREMY!
Jeremy Schmidt, master fabricator. Your sander, stand, and radius grinder attachment are unmatched in quality and utility.
I'm kinda a perfectionist by nature. Not often do I watch a build video like this and just end up thinking, 'nice.' Awesome job and interesting to watch :)
I am a blacksmith and i can say that your metal work is fantastic and very pecise !! You just got a new subscriber :)
It appears incredibly well built. It’s even super nice to look at. Anyone would be proud to own that grinding station. Thanks for sharing!
Skill, talent, and motivation, you will go far in life. Great job.
First class workmanship as always Jeremy.
This is unreal.... Every aspect is so well considered / executed
That looks awesome. I still love the modular drawers.
I watched your DIY belt grinder video about a year ago and today watching the culmination of all your efforts between the grinder and the bench... I felt great. I can only imagine how proud you are. Great job!
Excellent work Jeremy. You have earned a substantial following. So impressed that your channel is growing so fast.
Have I already written that you're an incredibly amazing young man??!! Great skills!!! The design is beautiful - love it. Thanks for sharing....
Hey Jeremy, after looking at tons of different designs of 2"x72" grinders, i want to say that yours outperforms them all. your design is the most powerful, sturdy, professional and versatile version I have seen. Also I really enjoy someone building something that looks and feels homemade but still really professional and like a "real" tool. I don't know whether and when i will built one but if I do so I will most certainly built yours (but in metric XD).
Congratulations on your design and the finished product. You have made an awesome piece of equipment with this grinder.
Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing it !
Your videos are such a joy to watch, and the stuff you make is incredible! Best woodworking (/metal) on UA-cam!
With the bench/cabinet, you've just finishing building a very serious piece of equipment. Excellent!
I really enjoyed watching your videos when you made the grinder. You did another fine job making the table/cabinet. Looking forward to seeing the more detailed videos. Keep up the excellent work. You should market your work. You are very meticulous and do a great job.
I am so envious of his ability to construct such nice stuff and a good grinder will serve a maker well.
Very very very very very good, on all fronts. It'll be interesting to see if anyone actually thumbs down a video like this.
I watched your grinder build and this build just matches it and more. Looking forward to the detailed plans video. All the best Jeremy.
Great work. I love the way you do not "Over Build".
WOW!! The attention to detail is frightening.
I really like how you over engineer and over build your projects. That stand will last longer than a life time. Your sander is bullet proof. I really respect how hard you work to make it right. No one will doubt it's built right if you have anything to do with it.
Nearly speechless. Awesome build and awesome/entertaining video. You are reaching fab ninja status.
I have just found your channel after searching how to make a belt grinder. I have to say I have fallen in love with not only your attention to detail, but also with your attention to future proofing and the quality of your videos and projects. I will be a viewer for a long time. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
You gave the grinder the home it deserves . Super nice job! Another awesome video and build. Can't wait for the next one....👍👍👍
Jeremy your videos and projects keep getting better. Love it when you update
I'm always impressed with both your projects and your video editing. This was fantastic, I would love a workbench made like this.
Great stand. I love the ideas about the drawers being interchangeable. I wish I would have done this to all of my woodshop cabinets.
The most incredible part of this is that he made those mitred corners with an angle grinder.
Not shown: truing them up with the belt grinder.
Love the short concise videos but am super looking forward to the in-depth longer video too. Thanks for sharing!
Really nice work mate. Over engineered like crazy; just the way I like it. Personally, the idea of the extended build video is preferable to plans. Great idea.
Extremely watchable. Your talent for fabrication is outstanding. Thank you so much for uploading.
Amazing work! I guess you can build even a tank in your shop!
I've made several projects with lots of drawers on my channel and yes it takes hours to cut them. Well done!
Superb! Interested to see how your "plans video" turns out.
That was so satisfying to watch. Your craftsmanship is top notch.
Brilliant as usual! Keep it up, Jeremy!
Once more you have made the already Fantastic Grinder so much more usable.
Excellent build and excellent video. Well done.
Regards Mark in the UK
Ok you need to build me one! The WHOLE PACKAGE! Sander and stand! Price is not an option!!!! You did quite an amazing job, well done sir!
yeah, I think he can make this and sell it without problems, just awesome
I love how you are casually building things that blow commercial similar things out of the water... Like, "Feh. I'm just building the best belt sander ever. NBD. And the table will be able to hold a F350 off the ground..."
You are probably going to make a fortune building someone's dream shop. You first, and then other people when they start throwing truck fulls of money at you to do the same.
The commercial tools have a strict budget for materials, and they have to be mass-producable. Designing and building something that is way overkill and will last 3 lifetimes is alot easier than building something that is just barely beefy enough to outlast the warranty period. That's the way to make a fortune these days. Sadly the guys making high quality stuff don't make a fortune.
If Jeremy were to try to make a living out of handcrafting things like this he'd probably have to charge at least $2000 for that belt sander and $1000 for that table. There's not really much of a market for that.
I love how fantasticly overengineered this is. It looks beautiful and functional. Who else goes to the effort of welds that could hold up a tank and think to themselves "you know what, needs more support"
Incredible as always.
Metal and welding isn't my thing, but this was so unique I had to watch it. Absolutely incredible!
Incredibly well done mate. Your belt grinder build video is my favourite of yours and this is almost as good. Really enjoyed the video!
Practical, well built elegant design.
Thanks for taking time to make these videos.
great job. Maybe a nice flame paint scheme up the sides...
.......aaaaand maybe no flames for me. Thanks! :)
okay, pink polka dots if you insist! :-D
Nice video. I'll probably won't build this, but I do get tips on your construction procedures. I really like your drawer design. Thanks for sharing. When your detailed video comes out, I'll be watching it. It makes me glad there are still young people doing creative work. Thanks for sharing, Briz
Really cool video, thanks Jeremy.
Man that's some fine craftsmanship. Way overbuilt and over engineered just like it should be! Now your stand is worth more than the grinder.
For whatever reason, probably because of your 'OCD', the precision and thought that you put into both the projects and your video coverage of them result in my ability to watch any length of video you put out. It relaxes the mind to watch such well-crafted content.
Great work table. Now I need to watch the in depth version after dinner.
I’m in love with it!!! Awesome!
Giaco Whatever -Nice to Giaco on the other side of UA-cam!
"Copy and paste" I wish life was that easy! Awsome build and your ideas for design and video editing are sweet! Definitely a 3 thumbs up build lol
Great video as usual Jer. Like the short ones as well as the long ones. I will never need a grinder or stand for the work I do, but I appreciate watching others workmanship. Keep it up...
Love the short vid and is detailed anuff that any one could make one for your self as you would just use what size you need for your grinder or work bench. But I will still watch the long one too :)
This whole project has turned out fantastic. You may well have the best 2x72 system going ... anywhere. Congrats Jeremy!
Great job man, that's a great cabinet!
I missed your videos. That beauty looks so darn heavy, which I know it was the plan. Excelent work!
Thanks for watching? Seriously bud........ thanks for making the video. It’s freaking amazing. I should hate you for being this good but it’s just not in my nature. Thank you again
Jeremy is a beast. If I only had half this mans brain and ingenuity.
i almost went into withdrawal.... ;) cool cabinet and excellent craftsmanship
Haha. Thanks :)
Your videos are satisfying to watch. Everything is perfect. Nice to see a new video from you. Waiting for more.
Nothing short of spectacular. If this isn't your day job, it should be. One question before I forget, what is the name of your site ;- ) just kidding. I am an 80 year old grumpy retired guy and when I saw your video, I thought OK what is this young whipper snapper , going to do. Sure glad I watched and subscribed, this is worthwhile stuff. You do great work and I look forward to watching more great videos. Thanks for sharing young man.....Ken, the old grumpy guy out in Marina CA
I'm only 37 but my wife calls me a grumpy old man... I thought the exact same thing you did but was eating lunch and didn't want get my keyboard messy by changing the video but I'm glad I didn't change. Very interesting and well done, the attention to detail on the build was really nice and the video was well put together, glad I watched.
Though I'm only a young un of 75 I agree with everything you said. I made my first knife in 1958 in metal shop and quit when I moved and retired. I wish I had had the where with all to design and build a piece such as yours. I do miss my home garage workshop.
Fantastic build. Now I want to get into metal working, not just wood working.
It's really best to know how to do both. Each material has its place.
Awesome work Jeremy! 👍👊
I absolutely love watching your videos!! Your ideas are so practical and unique!! I don’t know why I’m just now finding your page but you’ve got yourself another subscriber!!!
We want more vidoes and more frequently!
I'll do my best.
That shop is so incredible. Great build and great video as always.
So not only do I need to build this grinder, now I also have to build that kick ass stand
That is correct. ;-)
That makes two of us.
If there's such a thing as Matthias Green, I think you deserve Jeremy Battleship Grey.
Brilliant build. It's fun to see your influences on youtube but I agree.. you are one of the best on here.
Thanks for the great content.
yessss finally another video :DD awesome job as always
The warehouse will blow away but that grinder will stay in place for everrrr!
god damit his editing is fucking gorgeous
The true quality of the video and content...
That is one serious stand. Super solid.
That is badass. You are very patient, accurate and your accent is pleasant to listen to. Great videos
Stand turned out great! Random question for you: how do you keep your Apple Watch face from getting scratched up? I've had mine for two weeks and it already has multiple scratches from my day-to-day shop use.
Thanks!
Answer: I don't. It's got a lot of fine scratches in it, but they hardly interfere with the visibility of the screen. And so far there haven't been any deep gouges even though I'm really not careful with it at all.
Jeremy Schmidt man, I’ve already got a fairly significant scratch across the face, and it didn’t even happen in the shop. I figured this thing would be a little more durable.
That set-up I'd love to have under my metal lathe. Very nice job.
Nice cabinet and I like the drawer design. This video is enough detail for me as is.
Love the way you do your videos sir. They follow your workflow perfectly. You get your plan stated concisely and just enough of seeing the mundane aspects performed. I don't know how else to state it other than your workflow is laid out in a way that is easy to watch and easy to learn from. Thanks for the content.
Thank you!
This channel deserves 100x more views. Top quality
Wow, i like custom made tools and stuff. In case of this stand I really like the mixture of steel and wood, looks modern and industrial as well. Great job. Cheers from Cologne.
you are so organized.. it's a pleasure to watch your videos
