    Thanks for sharing this. I’ll try it with ghee. Should I put it in the refrigerator first or I can use at room temperature?

      Letting it sit a little in the fridge makes it better. The only time I do it at room temperature is when I use shortening alone.

    What can i use instead of shortening.
    Can i substitute shortenung with something else

      You can use lard or ghee. You can also use butter alone. Like I said in the video, only one of those fats are needed you don't have to use 2.

    Anna M. Mangin invented the pastry fork in 1891. The utensil was used to mix dough for pie crusts, cookies, butter and flour pastries without needing to mix the ingredients by hand. The fork was also used to beat eggs, mash potatoes, and prepare salad dressings. Mangin was awarded a patent on March 1, 1892, for the pastry fork for mixing pastry dough

    Can we omit the sugar for savory pastries?

      You can't taste the sugar in it its very little. That's why it's an all purpose pastry dough it can be used for both sweet or savory. But do what makes your heart smile. Omit if you prefer.
