I have a old second gen dodge ram 2500 4x4. The cruise use to work good and it finally stated giving me all kinds of grief .. so i finally had enough and ordered the after market cruise . Have not installed it yet but i guess i will as soon as it cools of some ..thanks for the video

I thought Promaster vans had cruise control. Why is it necessary to install one?

Because not all have them. Most delivery versions do not.

When you solder the red wire to the blue/red ignition wire, do you cut the blue/red and solder the red wire just to the connector side of the blue/red, OR do you solder the red to the blue/red connector side AND the blue/red feed end?

Its Thinsulate 600 insulation.

Take your time. Solder cleanly. It wasn’t hard. Just don’t be messy like me :)

FYI I could not get this working in a 2020. I called Rostra and they said 2020 has special install instructions. "2020 Models CAN wires will need to be soldered to BCM Brown connector in rear of
BCM/fuse box. Green wire position 13 CAN positive connect our Red CAN wire. Brown wire
position 14 CAN negative connect our Black CAN wire." I am unable to find this connection.. unless i have to take off the entire fuse box, which would be quite a chore.

i had mine installed worked for bout a month now when you try to set it, it wont. so took it back and they tried to fix it but couldnt so they refunded me my money back. that dont help now i still have no cruise lol. all cars ect need to come with cruise installed.
