Hi, I installed the rostra CC in my car 5 months ago, everything went well.
But two months ago, I have had a problem with the rostra control 250-3742 (same as your video).
The problem is, that it can not light up easily, it lights up after many attempts (led flashes, and does not light up). You can help me. I would appreciate. Thank you very much

Wow. Sorry to hear that. All I can think of is check the wiring. Sounds like a a loose intermittent wire. Good luck!

The factory cruise in my van is very aggressive about keeping the speed where I set it. It'll drop 2 gears going up a small incline and the engine will scream. Does this unit behave that way too?

Will this cruise control installation automatically adjust the revs in order to maintain a specific speed? I have a 2014 model with a manual gearbox

yes. ots a bit annoying as its not smooth like factory would be. It will kick in with high RPMs going up inclines. I only use when the terrain is flatter.

When you say kick in with high revs, how does it increase the revs without dropping a gear? eg. if I am cruising in 6th gear (manual gear box) and I approach a hill, the revs are going to automatically drop as the vehicle gos up the hill. Just wondering what you mean by the revs going up? I am assuming that we a manual gear box the cruise control will obviously not be able to drop a gear for you
