Less throttle when upside down and lots of elevator will give you an inverted harrier. Great Job! I like this plane.

I got to fly a real full scale Xtra 300 a few years ago. My oldest Daughter bought me a 2 hour flight experience with Gauntlet Warbirds at the Aurora airport! What a blast! They let me do crazy rolls, loops and some high G dives and stuff!! What a blast, I have been an RC Pilot for about 20 years and I love RC, but there’s nothing like full scale acrobatic planes like a REAL Xtra! The power was amazing, the launch down the runway at takeoff was like being in a funny car at the drag strip.
That was an awesome flight the snapping rolls and perfect landing nice airplane!!!!!!

I have a couple Flex Innovations planes and love them both. My Yak 55 flies similar to this and can do amazing maneuvers. Try square loops, knife edge loops, lots of snap maneuvers, flat spins, etc. Really great planes...
Flex planes are awesome. With your new love for flex and edfs you totally need a flex jet it’s definitely in my top 5 planes.

Another very versatile, aerobatic flip flopping, over under around, and through plane. Great flying. As usual. Now Nate ol boy, YOU need to allow the Abby wife some air ,and video time.‼‼. Abby time to get in the air, and on air. If this plane is more beginner friendly than the mamba, then you CAN fly this one blindfolded. Of course for your maiden flight, I'd keep them open. 😁😁. I just ordered this plane for myself. My skills are about to par with yours, just starting 3D after years of scale flying trainers and warbirds. Been learning on a $40 flat foamy profile plane but just gotta have this one for my first "real" 3d plane. Thanks for recommending it, almost got the Mamba, but this looks to be the better choice. At least for me. Keep up the good work Nate. Killing it!
Josh. From what I've seen this is not going to be good 3D flyer. Great for aerobatics but Its just too heavy for 3D i think. Would like to be proven wrong but i doubt it.

3 min are you serious go buy a wood gas plane you will get 15 to 20 min flight times and gasoline is alot cheaper than the batterys that dont last

Would this be a good plane for the relative beginner to fly scale and skill wise grow into the planes potential? I can fly my FMS 1400mm Trojan okay so would this be as forgiving to fly?

Maybe you could add smoke thing to jazz up those twirling down moves, you're getting more confident, maybe trying slow torque rolls.
You should try the spaghetti twist.its like doing a long twist while going up and circling around.it's a pretty hard maneuver to do.

Great flying Nate. This will be my next airplane. Got a few questions. Will this airplane balance with a 3s 2200, and if so, what will the flight times be. Also, how difficult is it to program the AURA 8 Stabilizer. Let me know please. THANKS.
The Su-27 FLANKER was the first (only?) fighter ever that could effectively do a 'tail drag' (which many people wrongly call 'Cobra' - pfft, civilians, man), which means it can stand up and let the nozzles briefly get in front of the nose, and then nose over out of it. It is not useful in combat (it would be stupid to do it), but it is cool to watch. I saw an Su-35 (FLANKER E variant) do this at Paris in '95 (also the first time I saw a C-17 Globemaster demonstrated, among much else). I say all that to say this: I think you will actually drag a vert stab on the deck with one of these stunt planes. That's a tail drag right there. :)

Just bought the extra 300. This plane is super tail heavy. Used a 3s 3300mah 40c battery, still had too add 1/2 oz weight to nose. Found it difficult to trim. I purchased same plane 2yrs ago and it flew perfect out of the box. Ur thoughts ?

Lol, try the bigger machines! The cap and mamba 60 are crazy even compared to three smaller models....
Those wings have an amazing amount of surface area, and the control surfaces are huge! Darn right it should be excellent at acrobatics! And it's roll rate is very good! With wings that big, you could practically exhale across them and it would go airborne! You are doing a good job of going back to level flight after each maneuver!
Sorry about the overuse of exclamation points, but that is an exciting airplane. Unfortunately, the outdoor flying season is just about done up here in Canada...time to break out the mini-quad and terrorize the cat in the kitchen...No, I wouldn't do that, but the cat does flee the room as soon as the props spin up...

There are RC simulators, very very useful. Certainly worth the money because they will save you more in airplanes, time to (re)build, frustration. They also make it more fun. I think it is a bit "stupid" to NOT use a simulator.
Nate nice plain to fly but Abby was a bit frightened by her breathing of you crashing ,I looked at this plane but it is quiet expensive as other plane I watch you fly if I was going to buy one you tested I think it would be the f15 eagle .

I was told and maybe you could comment your opinion someone said even anyone that has only flown on a simulator this plane flys so slow that it’s a great first plane ever as long as you you throttle it just enough to keep it flying because it’s big you can see if it’s up or down and you can just fly with your right stick if wanted? What at your thought
Yes, I'd say there is very solid truth to that. If I were you and you bought this as your first plane, I would still suggest having a friend maiden it for you, to make sure its trimmed up nicely before you take to the skies and then you can see what it looks like in real life without being totally overwhelmed. If you can fly on the sim, and you keep your throttle about half or so, you can totally fly this as your first plane. Remember, small stick movements!!

Why do they call it a 3D plane? Marketing? We did not see much in the way of 3D flying here. It looks to be too heavy for any 3D hovering or Harrier moves. It would be great if you can prove me wrong but I have not seen any 3D flying by anyone with this yet.
Yeah I sold mine. It started to feel underpowered compared to some other RC planes I have and just ripped through batteries way too fast. I think it’s too heavy and underpowered. Still a fun plane! But I’ve got others that I like more now. Thanks for tuning in 👍😁😎⚓️

Not so sure about that statement. While I am very open minded to Flying pretty much anything, at this point in my life I very much prefer foam planes over balsa by a lot. This statement coming from experience. I own quite a few balsa planes, but am more confident in my foam ones. Maybe I dont own the right balsa planes, but still.
