Saying this flys better than the 3DHS 59" slick is a BOLD statement, but I have heard this kind of praise for this offering from Flex innovations, many times now. Accomplished competitive 3D pilots ( one of them quite famous in the r/c flying world) have nothing but good things to say about just how good it is. Ordered!
I can't get my lights to work using a switch aux 1. In your video you said you used aux 3. I am using the same reciever with the spectrum dx8 how did you get the switch to work on an aux channel.
But does it work as good as the regular receiver? I just got mines bounded up yesterday and kinda sketchy just using the receiver alone. But everything does work
@@cameltoejhonsonbro92 I flew mine like that for a couple of months until I lost an elevator servo and it went nose first into the ground... it was my favorite airplane and I haven’t replaced it because I’m afraid of a repeat.
@@cameltoejhonsonbro92 well I was pretty sure it was just the servo since everything else worked fine other than the elevator. If I buy another one I’ll toss the aura and use a spektrum rx without the gyro because it’s just an oddball setup
It could be, this is Texas after all. You'd have to point out what time on the video, I have not noticed anything like that before. I see what you mean now, on the car behind. No, that's something less exotic. Some one stole the lens covers on the side blinkers, and it's left what looks like that hole. That would be a pretty big caliber gunshot, maybe a 50 cal, lol.
Through most of it on the driver side fender of that gray SUV LOL but dang 350 flights on this plane? That's awesome. I'm a little intimidated by all the computer capabilities of it. And I have a bunch of 4s batteries and no 3s. Seems like it would be a worthwhile investment though
Many thanks . Lots of good tips. Just bought one.
Two years old good as new. 🇬🇧

awesome and informative video, thank you
Thanks. I am actually going to fly the FI QQ Extra in the morning. Since this video was taken I have 350 flights on the plane. Love this plane.

Why u need gyro in 3d plane? Btw do you compare it with cap 232..??
Great video. Just ordered the RV-8 10e hope the aura 8 is just as easy to set up on it. Full watch & sub😀
Nice video and plane! It definitely includes battery?
Yes it came with a Potenza battery that has been great. Got over 50 flights with that battery and the pack is still solid, not sign of puff.
@@ThirdCoastRC Good deal. I’m guessing that was a promotion that’s no longer. Can’t find it on their website. Either way, looks like an awesome plane!
Are you going to post any vids if you flying it?
Part 2 (next video) shows me flying it just after I got it. Much more proficient with it now. I'll try and get another one up soon.
Ya can eliminate all those leads and buy a spectrum satellite to replace your rx. The satellite plugs right into the aura 8.

@@coryturner9140 elevator failed? Or the rx?

is that a bullet hole in the car? lol

It’s now well over 500.00. 😂😂😂
