Dean I don't care how many times I've seen you make a Amp Rack or wire up a T-harness. I will watch you do it again and again. Yall keep up the great work.
Anyone paying for installation on their vehicle should expect nothing less. Sadly, most shops are not like Five Star Car Stereo. It's just get it in and get it out as fast and as half assed as possible for most of them.
I really hope I get to come down to FL one day to visit and have my car done. Honestly I'm tempted to try to Roadkill my trunk after watching you guys for so long!
Would have been really helpful if the TITLE of this video stated which MODEL Lancer this was for. Unfortunately, not the series Lancer I was looking for.
Wish I would heal from my spinal cord injury. And then I could re-do my 2015 Mirage setup. Right now its got polk audio speakers around with no subwoofer. Speakers are wired driver front and driver rear to obtain a 2ohm load (same with passenger side), and then wired to the amp to get 150 rms which is INSANE LOUD but I loved it. If I heal, I would end up buying Sony's newest speakers and subwoofer in a sealed box along with a new sony headunit and go with a full sony build. That would make me happy lol. And I like to go after what makes me happy. But I need my body to heal. Shame medical science is still not all that advanced.... I feel like people like me could really use medical science to walk again.... but whatever. Got my new build planned out. 5 years since I was injured and still no luck. But there is always hope.
Wonderful work as usual :) Strange that drivers door was out of polarity, Fernando checked it early in the video and it was out of polarity so he switched it.
You only have to squeeze the glove box on the sides and remove the gas strut and then remove the one screw holding the cover on and then remove the screw for the big trim peice
I may have missed it, so I apologize if you dealt with this issue, but does it bother you that there is a heat/ac duct under the seat blowing right on the amp. Obviously not a problem with AC, but I would think pumping hot air on an amp would be bad? For example, my iphone has overheated when clipped to a heat vent in the dash. Just curious. Love your vids!
Add a USB extension cable. At the very least leave it tied up under the dash. If you want to go full Five Star add a flush mount male end down on the dash somewhere. Maybe around the OBDII port.
Great install. You can also use nail polish to fix pierced wires. Learn it as a rookie mechanic from an old man and it works. Been wrenching on cars for 15 years
If I were closer to Florida, I'd like to swap my factory JBL amp for something better. I don't trust any of the shops in my area and can't get my heard around an amp swap.
Good evening, should i install the front parking sensors on a lancer 1.5 no evo. I wanted to know where would you route the cables from the engine to the passenger compartment? where is there a hole or a sheath to pass the cables? Thank you very much simone g o
Hoping you good folks can help me. I have a 15 Mitsubishi Lancer with RF Factory Amp. I have a DNX697S along with the Maestro RM1 and the Maestro RR specific to my vehicle. I made all necessary connections, updated the firmware on the RR module. Everything works in terms of power, speakers, amp etc. However, the only thing that is not working is the OEM Sub. Any idea on what to check? All my door speakers, oem amp, etc all works. Just the oem sub itself is not working. Appreciate any tips in advance.
Nice Install but a bit more explanation on the wires from the dash were needed as a newbie would be totally lost watching you make a custom wire harness. Also this car may be badged as a "lancer" but its really not, it has more Nissan design and Nissan Jatco Transmission and Nissan sensors that makes it a "Nissan" and probably why the lancer is no longer a worldwide name. The real Lancers were from the style of the EVO 9 and Back, You probably need to own or drive one from the previous generations to understand the quality and difference.

Really like the respect you give your customers in keeping things neat and tidy in your installations.

Mr. Dean is a wire management wizard 🧙
Beautiful! Keep these full videos coming baby!!

I was under the impression that those are called "T-taps" because they "T" off of the main wire at a 90 degree angle.
I'm a fan of Mitsubishi ❤ and I appreciate videos 📸

Sub box is made by Basser - Basser.pl. I had one in my ASX. Great box.

Awesome video.

Have you ever felt the temperature of the floor during winter? I don't think your floor is a toasty 90 degrees even with the heat on full blast.
How would you install a line converter to a factory head unit for this car

I thought Rockford speakers put foam on the back of them? Y u guys puttin extra foam on thr front of brackets. Didnt think u did that with them??
Hi, can you help me what wires in the head unit you tap in to get the speaker line, i tried tapping +FR - FR , +RR -RR but still no feedback

Dope video. Do you make harnesses too ? I have an 07 town and country and I’d like to retain the factory DVD player.

Do you really think the regular Lancer started in the 10th edition? Please read up on your Evo and Lancer editions.
