I have been using the W8 for about 5 years and it is great braided line. 1/3 of the cost of PowerPoint and in my experience works just as well.

@@thelinelaboratory j braid with good results, now let's wait for YGK / xbraid ... here in brazil with fish with a lot of abrasion situation, i am using monster s9 and i dont know if the change to j braid grand worth the extra money.. whay do you think ?
@@couplefisherms Comparing the Manster s9 (20lb) and JBraid Grand (30lb) they are extremely close in both abrasion resistance and tensile strength. The S9 is slightly stronger for breaking strain vs diameter, and the JBraid is a little better on abrasion tensile strength so there is almost nothing between the 2 based on the numbers. If you look at the "Braid tensile Strength" chart here: linelaboratory.com/braid-testing-summary/ you can compare the 2. Price is the big difference, with JBraid being 26 centers per meter and the S9 costing only 10 cents.
I got Manster W8 II 45lb multicolor and pulled 24lb on two connectors using improved uni knot. I don't know if that's good or bad...

this brand is surprising me for the quality and price. do you have the opportunity to test their w13 and max power 2?
I haven't been able to get my hands on any of their other braids so I am yet to test them. I will certainly keep a lookout.

I haven't, no. We introduced the FG test after testing this line. As time allows I am going back and retesting.
